You mis-capitalized Daily FAIL.

I'm having flashbacks to the Cydonia mission.

But my imagination is leaving me with only rookies carrying starting gear (no idea how they are surviving the atmosphere though)

But this is good:

Is there some kind of joke that I am missing?

Because those do look like "fossilized" mud cracks.  They are a well known and understood phenomena on Earth. And the article does not mention any underground passages.

The Daily Fail actually appears to have gotten this story right other than the fact it the story, contrary to the date on the article, is over a year old, see this space.com article.

so after a round of banging violet... i mean banging my head, i cant recall the second one. Looks like a doors game, though.

I was more galactic empire than tradewars.

Which as i look at it, i think that Is why i get my jollies on Elite Dangerous. It is like tradewars and galaxtic empire rolled up into x-wing.

Daaaaaaaaaaamn. Good times.

I spent my late 90s after school playing and later on implementing on an ROT-based MUD. Good times and it gave me the foundations for what would later on be my career. Made a few friends there that are still friends of mine over 20 years later.
