They're not staying away from running as GOP candidates.  They're staying at home in the kitchen making dinner for their husbands and families like good wives do.  Not like those shrill harpies on the other side of the aisle who are going against gods will.

Exactly. The kind of people who would think someone was better off under slavery.

Hopefully many women like myself are waiting with extreme anticipation at midterm election day! So we can vote and show how pissed we are!

As GOP women are legitimate women, the GOP has a way to shut that whole thing (of women running) down.

Tammy Duckworth bringing her baby to Senate was the most awkward thing for the GOP ever. She's now not only a disabled female war veteran, she's a disabled female war veteran with a beautiful little baby. The minute anyone says ANYTHING against her, they look like an evil sick person (which they are).

In fact, that should be the go-to mantra from here on out: Why do you hate babies?

Thay just have yet to hear a proper mansplanation of their ladyparts.

Well, shiat, ain't this a modern Lysistrata we got here.  Women are using the power they had all along because they're tired men being on the side of the assholes.

No, that's too easily spun into a "pro-life" (read: pro birth) position.

Count me in. Here in central Pennsyltennarkatucky, it is republican, homophobic, conservative, Trump base. Complete with life sized Trump cut out at a used car lot. Yep.

If I recall correctly, white women voted for Trump by a good margin, even after listening to him brag about sexual assault. I don't think anything so far will have changed their minds.

This, of course. Everyone knows women's suffrage was a Jewish plot anyway.

Once the Russia thing is sorted and the Clinton gang locked up, Congress should be able to get on repeal of the 19th Amendment. Then, maybe, they can finally cut off the handouts Uncle Sam's been giving to the nation's alleycats, and give their long-suffering fathers real tax relief.

Hey... a republican wife's place is not just in the kitchen. Sometimes their place is standing next to their husbands as they give a non apology apology for farking a hooker, staffer or boy toy.

The GOP has a pretty well-documented history of hating babies, especially minority babies. They only care about a fetus...the minute it's born, fark it.

AeAe: Remember that the majority of white women voted for Trump.

I had a white, fellow attorney crow about how much she and her family saved in taxes this year due to the Trump tax cuts.  I explained that the new Trump rules won't go into effect until next year, and that my tax guy was saying we might be paying more, but won't know for sure until the IRS issues explanations later in the year, but if she saved money this year, it wasn't due to Trump.  She explained that her husband did the family taxes so she didn't know if that was true or not.  White Trumper women are out there.  They can't be reasoned with.  They will Trump.

I would have to disagree with this.  Brain dead slaves are staying with the GOP.  Granted women with and IQ of 90 or above are leaving, but a large number are staying with the wife beaters that they know.

Fear of the unknown is the prime motivator of all conservatives.  Even if the unknown is probably better, cowardice is the one thing that keeps people where they are and Republicans have that in abundance.

I do know that, yes. I'm just saying that I would have thought most women would have been repulsed by Trump's track record regarding them, but white women in particular proved me very wrong.

No, she filed her 2017 taxes this year. The rules that govern the taxes she paid were the old rules.  Trump's new brackets and rules regarding withholding and expenses allowed come into effect this year, 2018 and will either raise or lower her taxes next year, when she pays her 2018 taxes.

That is the exact reason the Dems should run her for President in 2020. She'd be the dream Democratic candidate. A female minority who served her country, and losing her legs while doing so, against a draft dodger who claimed "bone spurs" kept him from serving.

Women may not be running for office, but white women sure as hell are voting for Republicans once they get behind the curtains.

White women are just as racist and hateful as white men; they just have to calculate whether they want to give up autonomy over their own bodies and are cool with making less money and struggle raising their families. Usually racism wins.
