I think a nice story of how our intellectual betters condescendingly lecture us on these matters, all while turning a blind eye to what they knew Harvey was doing, should have won the prize.

Lookin' at you, Meryl.

...the Washington Post won for uncovering allegations that Alabama U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore sexually mistreated teenage girls decades ago. The reporting, published during the campaign, was a decisive factor in Moore losing the once-safe Republican seat to a Democrat.

Yes, that's worth a Pulitzer. If not a Nobel Prize.
But I'm sure Fox News would have gotten to it eventually.

They would have claimed that the people who give out the Pulitzer Prize have a pro-mainstream media bias and hate Fox News for it's "fair and balanced" type of journalism.
Fox News did a fearless report about rape pandas when others were talking about that raid on Cohen's office.

What exactly is "sexually mistreated"?

They quite obviously do. This winner was picked for timing and popular subject matter

We know in one case he sexually molested a 14 year old girl by taking her hand and placing it on his penis.

Is that good enough for you?

Yeah. It was totally ridiculous the way a national newspaper waited to investigate a local story until it became nationally relevant because the subject of the investigation ran for national office.

Bias, pure and simple. Exactly like Stalinism. Someone should shoot someone.

Good enough for me?
I didn't know you had to convince me.

I was remarking on the terminology. Mistreated sounds like he was rude or something.
Why not say sexually molested?
Read: I'm actually accusing the news outlet of softening the language.

So any kind of inappropriate sexual touching is goodbye enough for me.
Uh, I mean not good enough for me.
Uhm, I mean...
You understand.

No, not even close. Just simple popular pandering. That's all..

Pulitzer was a sleazy anti-union publisher that sent grown men to beat on little kids who wouldn't back down to him. They should really rename the award for someone good.

Liberal entities won liberal awards for reporting the obvious. Im shocked.
Just as shocked as I am that the US wins the 'world series' every year.

Funny how they left that out of the article. Seriously WTF?

I read an article in Billboard with Pulitzer Prize Administrator Dana Canedy, one of the comments was hilarious.

************************************

Myrants commented:

"the board just decided that the album is a word of vernacular avant-garde. It's a dense and sophisticated collage of hybrid sounds, polyrhythms, layered under what we would probably consider pulsing kinetic text. The brilliance of the music is what's shone through."

"I don't get it. I thought it was terrible. Pulsing kinetic text? How many ways can you say biatch?"
