My favorite player when I was 10 years old was Dr. J.  It has been a long time since they won it all in '82.

I remember sitting in my rocking chair with my baby in my lap still wearing my 3 piece suit listening to the Sixers broadcasts. Dr. J, Moses, The Boston Strangler, Mo Cheeks, White Death, harking back to the days of shattered backboards and Chocolate Thunder.
good times, good times...

Love him or hate him, Iverson dragging that 2001 team to the Finals is maybe the most impressive use of hero-ball that I've seen

Iverson didn't have anything like a Pippen on that team.  Jordan never drug a team that lousy to the Finals

Yeah, I forgot about that :). That team was Lebron and a bag of corpses.  Still, impressive what Iverson did, and I tended not to enjoy watching his style of play a lot of the time

Had dinner plans last night so I didn't get to watch either game live.  I blame me for the thread not getting to 20 posts
