(KTVU Bay Area News)   You know you are having a bad day when you are riding your bike and get hit by a car, and then the ambulance taking you to the hospital crashes into another car, requiring 3 more ambulances to be dispatched. Xzibit nods with approval   ( ktvu.com) divider line

By the way, that stretch of Sir Francis Drake at White's Hill is steep, and there have been epic bike accidents going downhill. Narrow two lane road. I rode stretch many times in my youth. You can hit 40+ mph heading down. If you can't navigate the corners or try to cut across the double yellow line, it's gonna be a bad day.

Few years ago a Namibian woman flipped her car on a gravel road killing her two daughters and badly injuring herself. A medevac plane landed on the road, picked her, and promptly flew into a mountain. When I think bad days, that's at the top of my list.

When this first aired, I was about 10yrs old and died laughing.  I laughed for a good few days each time I thought about that scene.

What did I just watch? I couldn't have written worse dialog myself.

Well, technically, yes I could.

My folks were involved in a pretty serious crash some years ago. Required transport to the hospital via ambulance.

They arrive on scene, evaluate my folks, and get them loaded in, ready to go. I happen to see a growing red puddle under the ambulance, with more gushing out of the now-blown transmission. I get their attention, and tell them, "hey, you guys just lost your transmission."

They see the puddle, and have to call dispatch to send a SECOND ambulance to the scene, as well as a tow truck for the first one.

So...yeah...they had to call an ambulance for the ambulance.

Don't get me started on the eight-hour wait in the ER before my folks were finally seen by the ER doctor...that was beyond ludicrous.

The last thing heard in the ambulance before the accident was a voice from the back, "Just run it, I always do."

Honestly, it takes a genius to explain something complicated in simple terms.

/thanks
//I can use this as an example when someone says "but it's complicated"
