Ten of them own farms?

2018-04-11 01:26:24 PM
Those ten look sheepish.

Ten of them paid attention in biology class?

If you're running against any of them and don't refer to them as a supporter of human animal sex you don't deserve to win.

2018-04-11 01:27:41 PM
I'm more concerned that this wasn't a law already.

/Still concerned about the ten who voted against though.

2018-04-11 01:27:44 PM
That makes perfect sense if you've ever been to New Orleans. How are they gonna get Texans to visit now?

LSU is actually LSU A&M, so equivalent to Aggies.

2018-04-11 01:30:07 PM
Might need a recount because half of them heard animal sex and went "YAY!!!!!" and those who didn't want it went "neeeeeighhhhh"

2018-04-11 01:32:04 PM
I suspect the ten who voted against were very busy pouting that the bill didn't make gay sex illegal.

2018-04-11 01:34:47 PM
It's always about the penis for "Conservatives".

Seems about the right ratio to me. What's so odd?

See, the evangelicals were right. We legalized same sex marriage and suddenly we have politicians supporting sex with turtles!

2018-04-11 01:37:13 PM
We are, after all talking, about Louisiana. And a state senate.

There is always a sizeable minority report. Retort. Report.

edmo: I suspect the ten who voted against were very busy pouting that the bill didn't make gay sex illegal.

sounds like it

The measure does also specify that previously illegal forms of "sodomy" are no longer against the law.
"Anal sexual intercourse between two human beings shall not be deemed as a crime," part of the bill states.

Are the 10 nos from state reps who co-own an underground animal brothel in New Orleans or something?

Are the ones who voted yes republicans?

2018-04-11 01:38:23 PM
Obviously there are 10 Republicans who aren't done with that chicken.

I'm guessing this legalization of that icky horrible homosex is probably why the 10 voted against it rather than because Bessy has a nice set of udders. I could be wrong though, it *is* Louisiana after all...

Literally speechless that 10 people voted against it.

2018-04-11 01:40:34 PM
I know it is a long article to read, but I imagine the ten voted against it due to some poision pill parts like:

"sex with animals is strictly prohibited, this includes sheep.  Cousins still okay."

RTFA

of course ten voted against it, "gheys":

"Anal sexual intercourse between two human beings shall not be deemed as a crime," part of the bill states."

Fart_Machine: Moo means moo.

I am actually from Louisiana, and when I was in college, had a redneck friend from North Louisiana and he told a story about how his family would randomly find an over turned five gallon bucket in their back 40.

So one day they catch an old farm hand banging a cow, while standing on the bucket.

He  ended the story with "He could make a moo moo go moo moo."

/true story

Wrong.  The Aggie equivalent would be LSU ATM

Since animals can't exactly contact the police, what are the actual chances of being caught engaging in the act? It seems like even those who secretly lust for animals could publicly support this law because the chances of actually being busted are pretty low.

2018-04-11 01:41:11 PM

fly_gal: I'm more concerned that this wasn't a law already.

Many such laws don't end up on books because most people--even law enforcement--assume it's already illegal. Until they catch someone and find out nope, all they can charge them with is animal abuse.

Either that, or "we assumed we didn't NEED one because no one's really going to DO that".

2018-04-11 01:41:41 PM
What about sex with fruit?.

2018-04-11 01:41:46 PM
"God forbid you vote against this bill, good luck explaining it."

And this thorough reporting had zero comments from those who voted against the bill.

2018-04-11 01:41:51 PM
Something similar happened in Utah, with one politician saying 'You dont know how hard it is being on a rural farm in Utah'

2018-04-11 01:42:19 PM
- Our next order of business - sex with animals?  Yay or Nay?

- I proudly say Nay!  Which is what the horse says when I have sex with it!

2018-04-11 01:42:48 PM
#metoo for animals now?

2018-04-11 01:43:01 PM
Wow!

Their state Senate is only 35 total?

2018-04-11 01:43:09 PM
would have to see the text of the bill before i formed an opinion.  This could be a case of the law being called "anti-beastiality law" but then also includes some ridiculously unrelated items like funding to build a new football stadium.

2018-04-11 01:43:18 PM
Pfft, screw that dawg

2018-04-11 01:43:21 PM

Nadie_AZ: It's always about the penis for "Conservatives".

Uhhh so you would've voted no?

Nah, they want to fark a cow. Homosexual intercourse is a red herring, which they would also happily fark.

2018-04-11 01:44:09 PM
Well to be fair, the law may be fatally vague. It doesn't actually specify which animals you can't have sex with.
