In Fredericksburg, Virginia back in college Waffle House was the only place open all night.

The IHOP wasn't 24 hours, and the Denny's was mostly 24 hours but closed at night on Friday and Saturday. Something about the plate glass window in the front being broken by drunk assholes fighting for the third or fourth time.

No Waffle House in Southern California, but I feel they're missing out on a big market here.

IHOP is kind of expensive and not all that great.

Waffle House is not very expensive and kind of good.

That site can go fark itself. A video, that when paused by hitting the pause button in the lower left hand corner, brings up a selection of other videos blocking the view of the paused video while placing the x in the top right hand corner, has one of those "do you want to allow notifications" things that requires exiting out of full screen to actually hit, then proceeds to autoplay something which starts .000000000000025 nanoseconds after the first video ended.

That was a nice move by the manager starting at thirty seconds in or so. Sort of a powerslam, that sure as fark couldn't have felt good for the guy having his back hit the hard floor like that even if his legs hit the bench. Manager was a bad mofo, good on him.

There are no Waffle Houses around Baltimore or DC either.  Which is pretty amazing considering you run across one by driving any direction out of those cities.  They set them all up around the highway system, but not in the city.  I can see them skipping over DC, but I have no idea why there isn't one in Baltimore.

that's no Waffle House, closest one's in Phoenix, might be one in Vegas. Only good thing about the Western WH's are they often feature All-You-Can-Eat. Personally I've found the Black Bear Diner's really good, but closes 11PM?

Not sure Waffle House would work in LA.  For one, y'all have Bob's Big Boy, Carrows, and a couple other equivalents that have more complete menus.

Black Bear Diner was really good about 6 or 8 years ago, but around that time they decided to keep the prices the same, and serve you twice as much at half the quality.  Which sucks because it was basically Cracker Barrel for furries.

Some suggestions for melee weapons, you wouldn't want to bring a morning star to a halberd fight.

Why did they charge a video with assault?

Interesting fact...

One can buy Waffles at IHOP but you can't get pancakes at Waffle House.

IHOP wins with most kids because they have flavored syrups, but they lose with most adults because they microwave everything.  I mean how hard is it to pour batter onto a iron and watch it.  If the tweaker working the grill at Waffle House can figure it out, I am sure the guys in the IHOP kitchen can manage it.

They don't want their employees robbed and murdered

Never. IHOP is corporate and doesn't allow any hijinks. Just yesterday my fav  WH waitress and I had a frank discussion about how that one biatch needs to be fired and business will improve.

According to recent talking points, the solution is to have employees all armed.  Bullets everywhere all the time.

Ah yes, right across the street from the late great polar palace ice rink and right next to the carwash...

The manager at Roscoe's wouldn't put up with this crap. Neither would the patrons dining at the same time.
