I wonder what kind of chaos would occur if someone saw him on the airport gate monitors for a flight upgrade to first class.

That's a really specific warning. "Contagious condition" could mean farking anything from the common cold to Ebola.

A spokesman for the force said she returned to hospital and officers had spoken to "those she had been in contact with" and offered advice.

Given that it's news, it's probably more along the lines of Ebola than common cold.

Or she's a gamma radiation source from an unusually high concentration of Putinium 210 in her body.

She's British.  The closest possibility would be "British hot".

Radioactive is not the same thing as contagious.

I will assume that this is somehow tied in to that missing CDC guy, though this is just the beginning of the movie and I only a minor character, so the details of the connection are not yet apparent.

I suspect it's something like measles. 90% rate of infecting people nearby, and Andrew farking Wakefield got enough people to stop taking the MMR vaccine to make a difference.

There's been ~120 confirmed cases in the UK in the last 12 months or so. Conncted to outbreaks in mainland Europe, mostly the one in Romania. We gets alerts at work.

You think that's ominous? Over here in America, we have a babbling idiot in White House. He's not the original source of the stupid virus, but he has been spreading it all over.

Not sure if our nation will survive it intact.

And BTW, get a handle on your farking anti-vaccination nutjobs.

There's quite a bit of TB in the UK. Because of recent immigrants, and not so recent immigrants going back to visit family. Some London boroughs have a higher incidence than some African countries, I think I remember that being he case.

I doubt it's that.

I second the vote for TB.  Not that many conditions that are highly contagious enough to warrant a public notice, while leaving the patient ambulatory enough to easily pose a risk of transmission.  Plus, it's the one infectious disease for which most developed countries have laws requiring therapy, up to and including forcible confinement if necessary.
