I used Weedmaps to help me locate the recreational shops. *shrugs*    I found them very helpful.

So here is a map of the wineries and estates of Napa Valley instead.

The purpose of the regulated market is to regulate the market, if you don't let regulated market regulate then the market isn't regulated.

And they include San Quentin toilet sangria tasting rooms, which don't pay for the beer/wine license.

They should be free to advertise. That's freedom of speech. And then the police should shut them down until they get licensed. That's regulation. That's a system that works for everyone.

1) Yes, Weed, California is a real place.
2) I haven't been there in a long time, but I highly recommend the Hi-Lo Cafe:

So use the map to bust people selling it illegally?

If a map of the wineries also included a bunch of illegal bootleg operations who don't comply with state liquor law, you bet the state liquor board would have issues with it.

As they should. But don't punish the map operators for publishing it. They're helping everyone. The consumer of illegal booze find illegal booze. The police for finding the illegal booze and consumers thereof. And themselves, with advertising dollars. Everyone wins!

I heard about this in the car, and the cops were actually a little embarrassed. They love Weedmaps, makes their job really easy.

"Royal Majesty" is not a thing subby. Majesty is by definition Royal.

"Royal Highness" is the correct style for princes/princess who are closely related to the monarch, because not all princes are necessarily Royal.

"Imperial Majesty" was a thing when kaisers and czars wanted to feel special. Queen Victoria was Queen-Empress all subsequent British kings were King-Emperor, but that was technically two different titles, and as far as I know they were never "Imperial Majesties".

Prop 64 is a giant shiatshow. Only 1% of the growers in California are actually licensed. This should tell ya how effective this regulation is. They only created a bigger black market with this one! Would you buy a sack of weed that has nearly 100% taxes added to it or simply get it down the street from your friendly neighborhood dealer tax-free?

California has a serious weed over-production problem. Everyone in the industry seems convinced that the only reason people didn't smoke pot is because it was illegal and now that it's legal the demand will boom.

Didn't happen in anywhere else. In Oregon, making recreational pot legal just shifted people from medical (with the expensive permits) to recreational. Overall usage is still about 10%.

In my case,  it's cheaper to buy it legally.   I've actually saved money by not buying it from my hookup.   The reasoning:   I can now buy the strongest strain and pace myself with it.   I don't go through it as fast or as much.   I was spending over $600/mo on weed.   I'm no where near that now.

Why exactly are nonprofits not allowed or assumed to not advertise?

Non profits are simply a business that doesn't pay taxes, they can make as much as they want as long as the "profit" is rolled back into the mission.

Agree with your first statement. Disagree with your second, at least as far as American English is concerned. The word "weed" is singular so we use "is". In the UK, they'd use "are" because it's a singular noun referring to a group of people. Look at sports teams. We say "Detroit is a horrible football team" but the English say "Chelsea are having a disappointing season".

I agree, currently I'm paying about the same that I've always paid for weed, but now it's 100% tested and top shelf.  Back when, it was whatever was on offer.
