Maybe he can use it to open a museum.  Don't laugh, there is a market for that sort of thing.

Set it up and let people poke it with a stick for $5.

Going right up on ebay.

You are bidding on the actual remains of Charles Manson.  Accept no substitutes!  The body was prepared in the Ferengi tradition of vacuum desiccation. The process resulted in Chuckies body being reduced to a near powder, stored in a set of 52 disks, marked with the Ferengi Seal of Dismemberment, and sold as a collectible.  Each disk will include a certificate of authenticity from the Franklin Mint and Funeral Home.  Once these 52 disks are sold, there will be no more!  You are free to do with whatever you want with them but they will most likely go up in value!!!!!

His body should have been donated to science already.   OR donated to an active volcano.   Also,  his 'estate' should be donated to the families of the victims.

Rot in hell

I had no idea Manson had offspring. See, learn something new every single day on Fark...

Since he was born in Cincinnati, it should reside here. In a glass coffin. Like Lenin. And Elvis.

He actually has several.  Free love back then.  Several of the ones rumored to be his children never took the test because they would rather not know, but a few stepped forward and got it confirmed.

What I'm wondering is what could the value of his "estate" possibly be worth?

I can see that happening now you've mentioned it. I've only seen a few (bad) documentaries on him and the Tate murders and they never brought up the fact that he had kids.

Does it come with any Beach Boys song rights?

NSCSS Time:
My aunt used to correspond with him.  She began writing him shortly after his death sentence was commuted and they wrote each several times.  She wrote more than he, but yeah.  For a while she was trying to get to California to visit him.  I should also mention that she is mentally ill and lives in a locked facility now, but at one point in time, she tried to hitch hike to California to meet him in person.  She had a psychotic breakdown somewhere in Kansas and that stopped her journey, but yeah.
I do not know if the letters are authentic, but I have seen several of them.  They are creepy and written by a mad man.  They are her most prized possessions.

Talk about 6 degrees of separation. Do you think she'll take them to the Antiques Roadshow to get appraised?

Don't take them to the Pawn Shop guys, they'll haggle you down too much...

Fun Fact: Manson was never proven to have personally killed anyone.  He was locked up for the murders his followers committed in his name.  Which is fine, but I sure wouldn't want to be Christ or Mohammed's lawyer, that's for sure.

Cults - not even once.

That's got to be a surreal situation for most people involved.

He was convicted of conspiracy and murder.
You are correct in that it was never proven that he performed the physical act, but that evidence wasn't needed at the time.

She wants to be buried with them.
Did I mention that she is insane and kept in a locked facility?

I would buy a truckload of those necklaces that you put a tiny fraction of cremains in. Could probably do at least a couple thousand of them. Sell them to death bags at about 50 to 100 bucks each. That way the old POS can ease the pain of being his grandson. Findadeath.com forums is full of people who fight to own a piece of him. I'd buy one myself. Talk about a conversation piece.

My mother in law was cremated and all her kids fought for the cremains. Judge ordered her split equally. I used to tease my wife and say "your mom never knew shed end up like a 2 piece KFC snack. What do you think you got? A thigh and breast? Or?"

Best thing Sonny Boy can do is cremate the kook and dump his ashes from a fishing boat in the Gulf of Mexico in the middle of the night. Deny him the glory in death the California Department of Corrections gave him most of his life. Burying him at Forest Lawn will only establish an unnecessary shrine.

"In making her decision, Knight said that the 2002 will that Channels submitted was not valid, in part because the witness signature was dated four days before the will was executed."
I can't believe they executed the will, but kept Manson alive!

Would the guy have wanted the body if Grandpaw's name was Krautmeyer?

I kinda doubt it.
