Fun Easter calendar fact: The way dates rotate through the Eastern calendar, Good Friday fell on my birthday a few times before I turned 18, which was the most recent time it did. If I live to 92, I can experience a Good Friday birthday again. Conversely, this is the first time in my lifetime Easter falls on my birthday. Last time it did was the mid-1950s.

"The Red Cow Inn was granted an appeal in court allowing it to open late"

Apparently this refers to staying open late, but why make TFA clear and easily understandable?

"The government's decision means that from now on Good Friday will be treated as an ordinary day...."

Well, how was it treated before? What is different? It doesn't matter a bit to me, BUT I WANT TO KNOW!!!

/actually, I don't care

What better way to celebrate Holy Week by getting hammered and nailed on Friday?

Grats. Thanks for making it easier to steal your identity. If you want to throw out your mom's maiden name or last four of your SSN, we'd appreciate it.

Not the Good Friday Agreement I was looking for.

A pub on good Friday? Do you have to pour some on the ground for our homie, JC?

I wasn't allowed to do anything that could be construed as fun on good friday. No cartoons, no playing outside... about the only thing my parents would let me do was watch the all day epic bible movie marathons. I must admit that a lot of those had gladiators and I liked them. The ones where Romans threw Christians to the lions were fun too.

It would be rude to directly state the facts. Best to dance around the subject and hope that the readers infer correctly.

You look in the mirror when you're jerking off, I'd bet.

Your birthday parties must have been interesting on April 1.

The death grip that the Catholic Church has had on Ireland is being pried off. After the abuse scandals from the boys and girls homes the Catholic church has very little moral authority left.
