You can't release Dolphins.  They'll never be accepted by another pod.

Great player, locker room cancer, terrible contract. He'll be signed before the end of the week, though.

Meanwhile Burfict is honing his post-tackle grappling skills.

I honestly don't know how he hasn't killed someone on the field yet.

He's both. He's not the only one, either.

Great player, team leader, and team inspiration with a past that was mostly the inverse.

My Dolphins are going full reverse this year. I can see why they're getting rid of all their talent--with Gase still in charge and Tanny chucking it, the money would be wasted.

I'm right there with ya, dude.  No idea why Tannehill didn't get the damn surgery as soon as he got hurt in late 2016.  Instead, we had Mr. I-Don't-Care for 2017.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me lay on you a so-so entertainer, not much of a humanitarian, and this cat was never *nobody's* friend.

He's in Seattle right now.

He'll get a lot less money, which only makes sense.  Paying a DT $26M?  (total 6 years, $114M, $60m guaranteed).  That's more than starting QB's get.  He wasn't worth the money Miami threw at him even at his Lions level of production.

He went to a Miami team that was OK defensively (#12 in 2014 total defense) and they went to #25 in 2015, #29 in 2016 and #16 last year.  What was the point of that investment?  They clearly didn't have a good defense even with him.  Also, the main way they could have improved their defense was by improving their offense - the O can't get a first down, which leaves the D on the field all day long.  They stuck with Ryan farking Tannehill as their QB instead of using the money or the draft to improve there.  Also, by the way they traded the #8 pick in 2016 to Philly in a horrible deal for Kiko Alonso - Philly turned that #8 into #2 and got Carson Wentz.  Sucks to be you, Miami.

I know Suh was very dirty early on, but over the last couple of seasons, has he been dirtier than everyone else? Seems to me that he keeps it mostly together these days, and that Suh stomping jokes are kinda played out at this point.

/or maybe it isn't reported anymore because nobody cares about Miami

Yeah, it really sucks for them that there wasn't a mobile, talented quartback available who had a soft spot in his heart for Fulgencio Bautista.

Yeah, it's really looking like Seattle right now.

Guess someone needs to fill in as the Hawk's Designated Dick.

He'd be perfect for the Bengals. They don't care about dirty players

In the NFL, if you get a reputation as a dirty player, you're farked. There's plenty of other players just as dirty as he is but because they don't have a reputation, they get a pass. It certainly helps if you do funny insurance commercials. If you do those, everyone forgets that you're a dirty player (Clay Matthews), an admitted cheater (Aaron Rodgers), or sexually assaulted a coworker (Peyton Manning).

I'll give you 1 and 3.  When did Rodgers admit to cheating?  Not saying you're wrong, just don't remember it.

I always got a laugh from Michael Bennett's desperate leaps in a futile attempt to take the ball away when the other team ran the clock out in victory formation. Maybe Sue will take over that role.

Stats suggest he's still dirty. Ignoring the ticky-tack stuff like offsides and encroachment, he still had two unnecessary roughness, one facemask, and one roughing the passer last year. Mind you, Burfict was worse last year, with a roughing the passer, one facemask, two unnecessary roughness, and a DQ.

In an interview with Phil Simms, he said that he plays with over-inflated balls.

Dead for Tax Reasons: now how's he going to pay all the taxes he was complaining about the other day

He wasn't complaining - he was just pointing out that it was inaccurate to assume that players got the full amount of the reported contracts.

Lol, if he goes anywhere but texas, he will have to pay at least state income tax as well.
Does seattle have municipal income tax?

So far they have been unsuccessful.

Or he could sit out a tear before joining the raiders.

I believe I was attacked for pointing out that NO ONE gets the full amount of their contract because we all pay taxes and athletes are not special in that regard. Where athletes get picked on is paying taxes on other states/cities which is largely overlooked for your average road warrior. But he probably hasn't seen coach in year so cry me a river suh.

Isn't Florida State tax free as well?
