I assume subby meant Big 12, because the Big 10 had a really sh*tty year outside of Michigan State, Michigan, Purdue, and Ohio State.

Trae Young and the Oklahoma b-ball Team received the annual Ben Simmons Bid By Virtue of Pre-NBA Hype.

/Can't wait to watch him hobble before taking the bench for the Kings next season.

I assumed he meant the SEC.

We could save a lot of time and effort if we just void the championship now.

As a Cal alum and brother of a UCLA alum, what they did to USC just makes the coffee taste better this morning. It's not going to matter, in 10 years 58 of the 64 teams will have been DQd for giving the point guard's mom a new watch band.

That's only the issue of a very few teams. The bulk of the charges are for players who got some kind of pre-college helpfrom an agent. The penalties will all be more than you get for 20 years of academic fraud.

4 teams from the Big Ten disappoints me. I figured Penn State would be nowhere close. I actually may watch the NIT this year as well as the Big Dance.

I don't care how good they supposedly are, if Virginia ever wins in a sport that more than two people care about I think I'll be too stunned to register what actually happened.

After those two emotional games vs. Xavier and Nova, hard for me to see them keeping it going, but those guys are tough down low.

Most of my teams made it in this year, and of those that did, great seeds.

Xavier - 1
Cincinnati - 2
Ohio State - 5
Michigan - 3
Michigan State - 3

Would have liked it if Toledo had defeated Buffalo, but hey, not a bad year.

Now, $100,000 cash money is hardly a bribe. Call it commission from Vegas bookies.

Congratulations, UofA on losing Shaq's kid.  You could have been an honest contender.

I could have gone to Cal or UCLA, but you never go to the same school as the help....

You don't get to like more than one of these three. It's a rule.

Oh well, I just need to pick someone else to root for.

I think it's bullshiat, especially given that they gave ASU a bid based on, what, beating Kansas three months ago and going 8-11 against the Pac 12?

One theory is that the NCAA is sending a message of some sort, but if they really wanted to send A Message, they would've snubbed Arizona, but that was never going to happen, because it's more lucrative to let Arizona play now and vacate their season over the summer.

Peak in December is the message.

Well, as long as they were able to get the almighty Trae Young into the tournament, that's all that really matters.

UofA is still there, so that hurts the theory.  I would expect the committee to leave a bubble USC out scandal or not.  It goes back a ways, but how the NCAA treated the Mike Williams situation in 2005 (waiting until he was on the tarmac to deny his reinstatement despite meeting all specified conditions) told pretty conclusively what the feeling is toward SC.  I am not even mad-- the less association with the present NCAAB dumpster fire the better.

A friend of a friend is a fan of Kentucky and Louisville, I'm not quite sure how but she is,

Cincy and Xavier hate one another, like really hate to a level that I don't think is nationally known. Though Michigan State and Ohio State aren't really rivals per se there is a level of respect there. Not sure how you can be a fan of Michigan and like Michigan State though, or vice versa. Hell, I'm unsure as to how you can be a fan of Michigan at all, assuming that you love America of course.

Woody come back here and give this guy a talking-to

The individual appears to be confused, I think the best strategy to help him see the light is to be calm and show him the benefits of rooting for the good guys. He has to come to it naturally and forcing it upon him could perhaps inspire the opposite of the desired intention. Besides, I've got my right fist already balled up if he makes the wrong decision.

Also, just the other day Ohio State beat Michigan for the fifth fifth fifth fifth fifth time this year in hockey to send their sorry asses home in the Big Ten tourney. Not that I take pleasure in their pain mind you, I'm far too mature for such things and I'd never go out of my way to remind them that they lost five five five five five times this year to their betters. I'm really glad I'm so dignified about all this, it makes me feel better to know that I can serve as an example of gentlemanly behavior to Michigan fans in their hour of need.
