Nerds.

Wow. Remarkable photos from both photographers and the similarities are eerie.

And I'll bet the photo nerds who follow their work are in more of a tizzy about it than the actual photographers.

That's more saturation bumped up to 11 than HDR. Ron also has a very slight advantage on focus.

The biggest differences I notice are the water heights against the stone wall on the far left of the photos.

How embarrassing for Ron that everyone got an unadulterated look at the scene to compare his Lightroom rasterbation to...

/Might has well just paint, at that point.

But every time Christ walks on water, there will be many photographers catching it from every angle.

It's a park full of people. Would you really give other people with cameras a second glance?

So two photographers hear about a large wave event. The both go to the best local place for photographing a large wave. As all photogs do, they take a gazillion photos of each wave. They go home and pick the same wave as the most impressive. They then pick the same moment in time as the best photo of that wave.

That's not a coincidence. At all.

Right where I buried her, if the erosion calculations hold true...

Awesome. That didn't look Photoshopped. Someone could tell from of the pixels, and from having seen quite a few photographs in his time.

I think is pretty much exactly a coincidence.

And as long as both of them were shooting digital, they both have the metadata to shake the photos were taken with different cameras.

Why can't you just alter the metadata to show whatever you want?

this is a really cool story...

the great big world got a little smaller in that millisecond..

Why would they, at the top of the article, put the photo taken slightly to the left of the author's photo on the right? I picked up on that fairly quickly and could only calm down when it was acknowledged in the article to be the case.
