I have a soft spot in my heart for Juno.  I once said "HI" to it, and it heard me.

Ricky was a bad influence on her.  No wonder she was shipped off to live with her uncle.

So we spent how many million to get an upskirt on Jupiter?

That was beautiful. Thanks, subby, for sharing those.

That was f*cking cool.

I..I've gotta fix that for ya, man. I know she's a machine, but I just gotta.

I once said "HI" to her, and she heard me.

Thanks subby, that was cool.  Talk about extreme weather!

FTFA: "The new findings, based on high-precision gravitational measurements, show that Jupiter's iconic striped bands, caused by immensely powerful winds, extend to a depth of about 3,000km below the surface."

Planet farts. They'll kill ya. Literally.

The question is would it be due to temperature, instant asphyxiation, plasma diarrhea, or gravitational compression? Let's say I just skip all four and stay somewhere a bit safer.

Idk -- my doctor gives me some pretty factastic drugs for the colonoscopy... Its like i get high on opium and wake up later with comically long farts and have little to no memory of the probing.

There are worse ways to spend an afternoon.

IC Stars: Its the goddamn prep that sucks donkeys

My older relatives have gleefully informed me of how long they sat on the pot. One guy constructed a purpose-built desk so he could just shiat for 24 hours nonstop and not miss a beat.

My aunt is a nurse and said there are far less-foul concoctions they can prescribe which do the job faster and with less agony, but for some reason (money) they do not prescribe it unless you ask for it nicely and with full insurance company agreement.

Just my normal HF antenna.  I think I was using my 102' doublet.

And to be perfectly clear, it wasn't just me.  It was a few thousand hams all transmitting at the same time, coordinated by a website.

This is how Juno heard us:

If you're interested in this sort of thing, right now there is an automated "ship" in the Pacific Ocean that's conducting FT8 QSO's.
