What about french fry oil?  Just dump it down the drain?  Or can we make it into bio diesal and drive around on it?  Or is it tainted by being an oil?  All oil is evil!  Even cooking oil!  Bam all oils!  Death to oil producers!  Hunt down the oil users! Purity in thought, purity in mind, purity in body!

I love my Sprinter van and it's diesel engine. Gets the same mpg as my wife's little Kia.

That's the odd part of the article: "We're ending production if diesel engines... except those engines for our trucks and SUVs, we'll keep making those."

Yes, ditch the technology that is twice as fuel efficient as gasoline engines, makes more torque per volume, and can run on anything that will combust.

Smog is an engineering problem, not a shoot-yourself-in-the-foot problem!
