F*ck yer taco! (Sorry, I like tacos too)
What about the quesadilla?!!

This author couldn't tell his dick from a half eaten sausage roll.
"A sandwich consists of at least two ingredients placed between two edible substances." Da fuk?
So, if I dip a chip in salsa, then dip another in guacamole and put them together; I just made a sandwich?
Darn... That actually makes sense.

SMORES ARE SANDWICHES!!

But what about the PB&J "taco" I just made with a single slice of white bread and a random schmear each of peanut butter and strawberry jam?

It's a sandwich.  (Or, it was.)

Does anyone have any good sandwich recipes? Friday night is "sandwich night" for dinner and I usually alternate between a clubhouse and a meatball sub (with a Cuban or a mock po'boy sometimes), but this is getting a bit boring.

I'm thinking of expanding to include dagwoods, but I'm curious if there's anything else I haven't heard of.

A true club sandwich can only be made by a major hotel kitchen.
And must be served with tepid soggy fries and a couple of Heinekens.
And must be eaten in your undies while jetlagged.

Actually, you can also get a real Club Sandwich from a mid-ranged Coffee diner that is trying to upscale Dennies and failing, made by a cook named Santiago and served to you by a waitress named Cricket at 3am in the morning, when you are still in your eyeliner and hairspray from the show you played six hours earlier.

The bread is difficult, but you can use foccacia just as well, and that's pretty easy to find. The rest is real easy - if you're concerned about the giardiniera, just make it yourself: toss sliced celery, garlic, carrots, and cauliflower into a jar, and cover it with equal parts olive oil and vinegar, plus some salt, pepper, and oregano. Toss it in the fridge for a couple days and you're done.

Both it and the olive salad keep for months, so you can make a big batch and then just pull it out every couple weeks for sammiches.
