Trump's conversation with McGahn was one of two conservations

You even spelled it right the first time.

OK, so is this how it went?

"You want me to fire Mueller?  That's it, I'm outta here!"
"No, stay around, I was just kidding"
"OK, I'll stay"
"Now, tell people you weren't quitting..."
"Huh?"
"TELL PEOPLE YOU WEREN'T QUITTING OR YOU'RE FIRED!"

In Trump world this makes sense.  It's all about trying to fire Mueller without anyone finding out about it.

Before the article, Trump was focused on keeping McGahn from telling the press that Trump tried to fire Mueller.  Easiest way to do that was to keep McGahn in the administration.

After the article, Trump was focused on denying the article.  To do that, he either needed McGahn to deny the article, or to paint McGahn as a lying leaker.

Of course, none of this is effective.  Everyone already knows.

Trump ordered McGahn to ask Priebus to order Kelly to see if Mueller likes Trump, or like-likes him.

Insane irritable bowel syndrome rodeo clown circus, now with 30% more stupidity.

If you threaten to resign when I say I'll fire you if you don't deny that I threatened to fire you after you refused to fire Mueller, you're fired!

Now I have to go eat a dish of ravioli then join Ava in my suite. By the way, I want to see Fegelein.

Trump wants people to lie for him.  That's how much he lies, he has to subcontract out some of the lying.  Lying is loyalty.  After his people lie for him, he has that to hold over their heads, making them more loyal.  A real team held together by lying and extortion about the lying.

I can't imagine how that management style has ever not worked.

As much as I hate Sanders and her lying-for-pay, she didn't put Trumps peen into Daniels.

The scandal blew up because Cohen tried his double-secret arbitration on Daniels last week... not because Huckabeast mentioned the double-secret arbitration yesterday.

But Cohen has a penis (I assume), so Huckabeast is obviously to blame for this scandal

I kind of got sick to my stomach a bit when listening to CNN yesterday they had people that were defending this intimidation tactic by touting "sanctity of contracts" jazz.  We've got a contingent of people who are willing to allow corporations and the rich to do anything as long as a contract is signed.  Oh, and if those corporations break the contract... that's fine.  The sanctity of contracts only goes one way.

Trump expects everyone to abide by one rule: no matter what he does, they have to make him look good.

Everybody reading this has signed a hundred "binding arbitration" contracts.  It's in the terms or licensing for practically everything now.  Good luck trying to get any satisfaction.

So Trump actually found his balls and threatened to fire someone?  Why do I get the feeling he hemhawed around it until the Counsel said 'well, farking do it, you wig-wearing, daughter-farking, asshole?  I'll just go to Mueller to spite you' and Trump backed down like he always does?

Being "edited all to hell" is why Trumperdink has no idea why "I never said/did that" doesn't fly, even when he was live or recorded at the time.  He can't grok that reality can't be edited to match what's in his bubble.

Wait, fire someone who's threatened to quit...? So Trump's current playbook is basically "threaten to shoot the suicidal jumper" if they jump?

2018-03-08 04:51:37 PM
Okay, I've changed my mind about digging a hole and throwing a giant pile of money in it instead of building a stupid-stupid-stupid wall between the US and Mexico.

Now I want to put Donald Trump at the bottom of the hole, but instead of money we dump poop into it as filler.

McGahn has a much integrity as the rest of them, but probably more mob ties.
