"We have a long history of supporting women in the workplace," the company added.

Yep. For example, a McDonald's employee could've gotten a whole grand for just blowing her manager.

What McDonald's has is a long history of distancing the corporate brand from their franchises, so that the corporation could not be held liable for the actions of their franchisees, allowing the franchisees to get away with quite a lot of bullshiat, including gender discrimination and sexual harassment while reminding us that they were "independent owner-operators." Only recently, when a court decision indicated that the corporation could, indeed, be liable for the actions of its franchisees, did McDonald's suddenly start changing its tune on such subjects.

McDonald's couldn't give two squirts of warm piss about women, or diversity, or equality, or whatever - all they care about is whether this kind of insincere kiss-assery will somehow lessen the possibility of legal implication in future lawsuits.

In Gaelic it would be Nic rather than Mac, so it should be NicDonald's. Though technically it means daughter of the son of Donald, it will do.

Now let's talk about those breasts again

I wanted to make a race joke of some sort, then I noticed how big the meat patties were on the Big Mac sitting on the table.  Damn have they shrunk the hell out of their meat patties over the years.

I tried Whataburger a couple of months ago. It did not live up to the hype. I suppose the one thing I could say in its favor is that it didn't give me a case of Culver's Revenge.
