Uh, yeah. He's a conman, that's what they do.  Now what're YOU going to do about it?  Because it's not just Trump.  The entire republican party doesn't give a single shiat what happens to you.  They care about making the rich richer and keeping the poor dumber that's pretty much it.

Yeah, don't tell the publitards that, they'll take it back.  They don't want children fed.

And in a few years, all your tax cuts expire while the 1% keep getting their tax cuts.

Plus he's going to crash the economy.  That's not an "if" it's a "when."

Good luck, Trump supporters.  You're going to get it the worst.

It's a pittance, and a temporary one.

Our pittance had to be set to expire in order to make the massive cuts for corporations and the super-wealthy permanent.

Sometimes I wish I had less to lose, so I could actually take action.

They are also making the tax cut appear larger by reducing withholding. Many people are going to surprised next year when they don't get a refund like they are used to or even owe.

How can that be... if abortions and taking away guns are bad, then the party opposing those must be good. Ipso factoid, their economic policies must also be good.

"I have seen a little uptick in my paycheck, about what I expected, about 30 bucks," said Mr. Kazee, who voted twice for President Barack Obama before backing Mr. Trump in the 2016 election. "It felt to me about like where things were 15 years ago."

According to the googles, a machinist earns about $40k in Ohio, so we'll be generous and say this guy makes $50k. How much did he think he was going to save here? $30 a week is like 2.5% of his gross pay and likely represents nearly half of his federal income tax liability. Was he really expecting more than that?

Don't worry, once we get this trade war into swing and crash a few industries to start a domino effect I'm sure there will be plenty of people to go play Bonus Army 2.0: Patton Boogaloo.

We should be livid about this.

The economy was doing fine. We didn't need a farking tax cut.

Nobody did. Now we're going to see 2008 happen all over again.

The tax cut is like taking out a payday loan to buy a new TV. You may get some immediate gratification, but just wait until the payments come due.

Unless you're rich of course. Then it's time to party like it's 1929.

Don't be silly. To get 2008 all over again you'd need to do something entirely stupid like roll back all the post 2008 banking regulations.

Hmmm. Buy gold?

They should give more tax breaks to the job creators by increasing the projected annual economic growth to 5%. That's how this works isn't it?

Enjoy the extra cash each week that Trump "gave" you--maybe treat yourself to an extra pack of smokes with it. Don't worry about the cancer--oh, wait, you don't have health insurance either. Oops, tough luck.

But at least Trump tells it like it is, right, dummies?

Fark you. Go vote Republican some more and see how much shiattier it can get (hint: a lot).

That's what the ruling class wants.  Pay you just enough to let you live, but that's it.  The majority cannot afford to take time off work and protest for real change in this country.  Our wealthy "superiors" manipulate the strings of government for their betterment without the fear of the working class protesting their robber baron ways.

It is definitely not a step in the right direction. The people who need it the most got pocket lint and some spare change, while the people in the top 1% got the lions' share.

The best part of democracy is watching people too farking stupid to understand even the most basic of issues go and vote on these issues against their self interest, and being forced to live with the consequences, even when you saw it coming from a mile away.
