If superpowers include vomiting, seizures, coma, and damage to your liver, kidneys, lungs, and nervous system, then the answer is yes to the first question.
And if you want those superpowers, then go right ahead.

I live in the Bronx. That rule applies pretty much on a day to day basis...

So what you're really saying is the space station is made out of the prescription pills advertised on TV.

No, because it's loaded with desperate notes from unpaid sweatshop workers.

Because it has a Plutonium core.

I remember seeing some Chinese satellite burning across the sky back in 85, maybe 86.  Lots of reddish-orange sparks flying off that eventually broke into two pieces.  And the show lasted for a several minutes if my memory serves me.

Yay I'm in the the worst-case location zone! (yellow)

Seems weird though that there are lots of heavily populated areas that aren't considered worst case.

I think they call the yellow zones "worst case" because -- according to your map -- the orbit spends a rather meaningful length of time in those latitudes compared to the other latitudes in the orbit. It seems to be where, for lack of a better phrase, where all the u-turns are made.

Oh, it's on. You can have whatever you want. The gold... silver... hydrazine. But that plutonium is mine! :-)

/It probably doesn't have plutonium.
//Which is what they want you to believe.
///But really, it probably doesn't.

Next I'm going to try and get a similar picture of the ISS - which since it's so much bigger, would make an easier-to-see picture.

There's still plenty of enriched uranium scattered over northern Canada from that RORSAT reactor the Soviets dropped on us. Help yourself to as much of it as you can find. If you insist on plutonium there are a few cores on the bottom of the ocean, e.g. the one from the Apollo 13 lunar module.

That was a Celestron Astromaster 114EQ.  4.5inch reflector on an equatorial mount, using a DSLR in prime focus.

I was able to line it up on calsky.com which is awesome for that kind of stuff

The lunar experiments had to keep working when it was night on that part of the moon. In other cases it's because they needed more power than they could get from a reasonably-sized solar panel (e.g. missions to the outer solar system where the sun is quite dim).

Nice.  I keep thinking of buying a new scope after I sold my Meade years ago to upgrade and then the money got spent on something else... Life happens, you know...  One day I will get another.

My state is smack dab in the middle of that as well. Maybe a chunk will land on my house so I can sue China and not have to pay to fix my roof on my own (lack of) dime.

Naaa... things don't work that way.
