He asked how many people had used such phrases in the past, and said it was unfair for Mel Gibson to be singled out for it. He didn't express them as his personal opinion. And, when pointed out the douche baggery of it all, he apologized unreservedly.

Remember when someone I've never met and who has never had a direct impact on my life said something that can be used as a smokescreen for the fact I will never develop the skills or mindset to be successful, all while I use the internet to band together with others in a limited social movement, so that I can feel a brief moment of control and power over my reality?

I sure don't.

And no, I am not saying this to discredit the unfounded rumors and fake news that I am the alleged head of an alleged "misogyny factory" operating 50 miles outside of Moscow, that reposts the latest and greatest in how women are ruining everything for hard-working men all across this world.

This reminds me of the time Gary Oldman came into my dojo.  I l told him "This is a karate dojo not a knitting class!  You don't come in here, drop a challenge, and leave Oldman.  Now, you get the boy on the mat or else you and I are going to have a major problem."

In his Playboy interview, Oldman added: "We're all f***ing hypocrites. That's what I think about it. The policeman who arrested him has never used the word 'n****r' or 'that f***ing Jew'? I'm being brutally honest here. It's the hypocrisy of it that drives me crazy."

Seriously? That was it? He didn't call out blacks, Jews and women, he just said that he feels that everyone uses slurs in some way and that it's hypocritical behavior. Jesus farking Christ, this is getting ridiculous.

I have a black friend (I know, there I go bragging again) who admitted that when he is driving in certain neighborhoods that he rolls up his windows and locks the doors when he sees a black person approaching while he is stopped at a light. He said he also did that when he was in Alabama and a white guy was approaching his car while he was stopped at a light.

Yeah, race has nothing to do with it. Location, location, location... It's all about where you're driving, not who walks up to your car. But the problem is that those people who aren't happy unless they "discover" racism will tell you that those neighborhoods have more minorities in them, so if nothing else, you're statistically racist...

I was thinking that too. And only two nominations if I heard that correctly. In a biz where most actors just play themselves, he's played so many crazy characters, the hardest was probably Commissioner Gordon because he's a regular guy.
