That should also apply for when you use the slide to evacuate a plane.

Yeah, I'm not really that into watching Queen Elizabeth evacuate.

Not really my fetish.

When in a large, moving crowd of people, start Moo-ing loudly.

It's hilarious and no one has ever done it before.

The first time I flow overseas on a 747 (when I was 10, though I had flown when I was 3 and don't remember
any of it), I was sorely disappointed when I saw the inflatable safety slides on the instruction cards and
secret wished that something would happen to the plane so I could ride them.  And to this day, deep in my
heart, I still wish for it.

When I told this to my mom many years later, she was properly horrified.

Hahahahaha!

I remember being a little kid and thinking it would be fun to use the oxygen masks during a flight.

In other news, stealthy architeture has advanced to the point that a completely photorealistic wargaming sim can now be rendered on an 80486.

I've always said a water park should have a couple rides based on those, and the boats that just get dropped off freighters.

Now that you mention it, I always secretly wished that would happen, too.  And I desperately wanted one
of those self inflating life presevers with the automatic flashing beacon as a souvenir,

How many degrees of roll before the slides are useless?

Motors to get the inflatables away from the large vortex of suck as the carrier goes down?

So many questions...

That looks just as terrifying as the usual lifeboat evacuation. Imagine being in what my brain is telling me is a fecking bouncy-castle, bouncing off waves and hull in rough- truly rough seas, and having about a thousand sailors all wanting off at the same time.

No thanks. I'll pass on the "fun" 'wee' my trousers, probably.

Is it because of the vacuum outside?

That does not look fun.. That's a steep ass drop, into an  thin sheet of plastic resting on water filled with bodies..  No thanks..
