Griffin was 4 years old when doctors amputated his left hand a day after his mother found him in the kitchen attempting to cut off his jelly-like fingers, which were in scorching pain whenever he touched anything, the result of amniotic band syndrome, a congenital birth defect.

And Cheese and Fries this article just got really f*cking dusty

Dude was tough enough to do his own amputation; doctors just finished the job and cleaned up.

Zoiks.

Why would I make jokes about him? The guy is a legit talent and seems to always say the right thing.

Also, he just ran a 4.38-40.

Obviously to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Ohhhhh...now I get it.  So that's why it's called the combine.

And he has a twin brother who's already in the NFL...

Dang, guess this guy shows up for game day. That's gotta count for something.

He only has three fewer fingers than JPP.

Yeah, the back story on this kid and his brother is incredible. I hope they both enjoy long, successful, and injury free careers.

I hope he goes on to win six super bowls.

Got to see him first hand during the Peach Bowl. He seemed to be in the backfield on every play. Guy has skills.

I hope Jason Pierre Paul takes him under his wing

I have read some articles on this prospect. Pre-combine, he was projected to go in the 5th or 6th round, with the main consensus being that teams would be a big hesitant to draft him higher because of his size and only 1 hand, but that he was able to get around college blocking despite his lack of size and his speed and awareness were incredible. He also was incredibly good at studying film and could make an immediate impact in the NFL in 3-4 and zone packages, along with special teams.

However, after that performance (and a farking 4.38 40 as a linebacker, that's incredible), teams that were hoping to get him in the 5th or 6th round as a steal will now have to pick him higher because I doubt he lasts past the 3rd round.

I saw him play against Auburn in the Peach Bowl.  He was unblockable.  Completely dominated that game.

I wish him well.

This game is a two-handed game.  There's no place for a one handed pitcher. -Jim Abbot.

You gotta hand it to him, he's hands-down the most inspirational character in the draft.

I'm no palm reader but I'd bet that kid gets fingered as a third-round pick or earlier; his agility and smarts are handy to have on any roster and given the right opportunities he could be making a 7-digit salary soon enough.

Jokes? If I was offered any challenge by a one handed guy who was invited to the combine I would decline politely

Was going to say the same thing. Auburn' O-Line handled Alabama reasonably well, and this guy just wrecked them. I was baffled that they never adjusted and rotated help to his side.

You'd think a guy with only one hand would stay away from combines.....
