Morning all. Surprised they haven't postponed any EPL matches today given the weather in the UK this week.
Looks like my hopes of a Pratchett Shield are done :o(
Anyway, usual round up of last week's games here
& our fantasy league table looks like this

Top tier teams all have amazing pitches these days with heating, drainage, etc. And West Brom are away.

Seriously though, the pitches are playable but the roads are not. It wouldn't be the first time that games have been postponed over safety fears for supporters. I guess TV money rules all these days.

2018-03-03 07:08:59 AM
If any are postponed for supporter safety reasons I suspect it'd be the games in Swansea and Southampton. The early game is on, Everton fans don't have very far to get to Burnley and the snow hasn't been too bad in the north west of England.

Almost everything is off in Scotland though, and vast majority of lower league games in England are off as well.

Watford have said anyone with a season ticket for another club can come see their game for 50% off, if for some reason the prospect of watching them and Wet Broom flail at each other for 90 minutes appeals.

Ouch.

I'm not confident of many points for NUFC this evening.

Yeah, I don't think they will take it easy on them because they have fond feelings for Rafa

And alas, I have chronic kidney stones.  Usually they are super super small.  This one...isn't.

Snowpocalypse now has postponed the MUY THAI Oxford United match, and I have to drive from Delaware to Virginia to sign apartment leases and car down payment checks.

But the worst possible news of all is that Oxford United are rumored to be in talks to sign former England manager Steve McClaren as their next manager

He started out as an Oxford coach back in the day. Still a terrible idea.

Burnley's defense is a bit sloppier than I've seen recently. Weird mental and positioning errors.

It wouldn't shock me if Sam had one of those and got it mixed up with his "tactics" Power Point

Half time. Time for coffee refill and some scrambled eggs.

Sadly, I won't be around for the Liverpool match today.  MLS starts today and the Crew play at 1 against the very much hated Toronto FC. Its an away match, so we are off to a bar (which is a Spurs bar) to watch.

As soon as I saw they were opening the weekend with Burnley-Evertton, I said to myself "Great way to spend a weekend too broke to get properly drunk to numb the pain of a clownshoe-filled dumpster fire set of predictions", and it looks like I was, sadly, correct (and I knew I should have borrowed some money from someone at work so I could get some beer, but I foolishly didn't).
