Finished off in seconds. It's like Pitino never left.

That defender needed to be at least 20 feet away from the guy shooting the three on that situation. Maybe 30 feet away.

And maybe don't run the baseline after a missed shot.

A lot of times endings like this have bad calls from the ref, but not here. Louisville deserved to lose the game, two bonehead mistakes in the last 10 seconds.

You knew the game was over because the announcer said it was over. That means it's over.

NBC: "Challenge Accepted"

Yeah, the first thing I saw was just the last minute shot this morning, which was an impressive ending.

Seeing the entire last 6 seconds though... the key part there was the running the baseline... that is a bonehead move you learn not to do in 9th grade JV I'm pretty sure?

Saints like end of game play detected.  Grumble grumble.

Actually, Virginia down by four with 0.9 seconds left, so their win was actually 3.333 times better than the headline makes it seem.

I swore that I got a pop-up notice on my phone, google newstand or one of the sports apps, that Louisville had won the game. Somebody was a little premature on that...

Virginia also made a boneheaded mistake -- the lane violation -- but it wound up saving them. The ball was rebounded cleanly by Louisville and he could have just heaved it upcourt if there hadn't been a whistle.

Holy shiate what a great ending.

Virginia Baseball won a game in extra innings by the score of 4-3 this week. UVA's pitchers threw a combined no hitter, and they won on a walk-off error.
Virginia Basketball: Hold my beer.

6th grade. My son called out the other team doing it this season and refs had to agree a violation.  Of course they turned it over and lost but the other team's coach thanked our coach and son for the teaching moment

It sounds like you are saying you can't expect to beat the #1 team in the nation, by only playing great basketball for 39 minutes and 59.1 seconds.

I caught like the last 10.9 seconds of this game, the Louisville 63% foul shooter was at the line, he made BOTH to make it a 2 possession game.  It was a wild ending, I'm hoping this bodes well for the conference and NCAA tournament games ending on buzzer beaters.
