I'm glad I read the article before I spoke my mind, because Otzi, technically, has the oldest tattoos ever found, although it appears these may be from around the same time frame.

And they're GEOMETRIC...and we all know geometric images cannot be figurative. WTH?

Yeah, that irked me but whatever.  :-)   I'd like to think it was because they didn't have the tools for more intricate designs.
