How do we figure out what to pay the coaches?

Well, they get what someone is willing to pay them.

How do we figure out what to pay the players?

College coaches get paid more and have far better stability. Pop's been with the Spurs over 20 years, Spoelstra and Rick Carlisle are at 10, and coaching tenures fall off a cliff after that. if you can deal with recruiting and aren't a sociopath like Rick Pitino college basketball is the place to be.

The place costs $72k per year (although financial aid looks pretty good.  Don't know how you remain an indentured servant).  You could probably build Hogwarts for that money (I wouldn't be surprised if someone licensed the castle and tried it).

Biggest difference between Duke and Hogwart's is only Hogwart's alumni are likely to join the Wizards.
