Back in college, the most popular off campus bar has a small sushi bar at the end of the regular bar.  The sushi chef called himself Master Kenny, and since were were in So Cal, he had his 8x10 head shot behind the bar....in case some Hollywood big shot came in.  He had already been in some movies, but Black Rain is the only one I remember.

This just in, fulfillment doesn't necessarily come from fame.

/it's actually kind of odd how many people want to be movie stars.
//Acting is really hard work and requires a lot of luck to get ahead.

Or a particular kind of fame. I commend the man for following through on his dream.

I'll take the money and, if necessary, the power. I hate the idea of fame. I like to go to the grocery store without people gawking and/or taking pictures of me.

If you want to be successful in Hollywood, become a professional waiter.

You'd be the only one.

I'd recommend doing something in the building trades. Having the power brokers call you for your talents might be nice.
