I remember a guest on the last Holloween Science Friday mentioning that burying a body in wet wood chips would mulch a body in a month. Just a suggestion for crematorium operator who can afford the gas bill. And maybe General Services, in case they want to offer a green product.

How the fark do you miss a whole decomposing human body? Hell, had a mouse die behind the storage boxes in my basement and the smell drove me nuts until I found it, and it was dry enough (thanks to the guy who built my drainage) to actually mummify.

Story was a bit light on details. Was she found in a box in the basement? In the back of the freezer? in the dryer with the missing socks?
