There is an importany criteria for ALL classifications in the DSM that is assumed but not listed: are the symptoms to a degree that it is debilitating? Do they negativly effect their life to the extent that they would have a difficult time operating normally.
Two people with the same  symptoms to the same degree of severity might have differentiation on the diagnosis due to their social class and network.

This why many psych field workers wouldn't give necessarily give him that diagnosis, and why rich people are eccentric, not mentally ill.

I agree that were he Pat Q Farker, he would hold the diagnosis.

I also agree that he is on the path to debilitating significabt segments of our population .

Yes, I remember you doing so.

I see his public downhill slide triggered by current on-going events that make his NPD traits (grandiosity, seeking excessive admiration, lack of empathy) more obvious - in a negative way.

Will Trumpers also see this?  I think only one at a time, and only when it affects them.

I don't think they care. Trumpers are still happy that Trump annoys the hell out of the "liberal elite". That's pretty much all that matters to them.

FTA: The most important characteristics of NPD are grandiosity, seeking excessive admiration, and a lack of empathy .

Nuff said.
