That's basically what we've done.  Prop65 is the poster child for why overly-broad warning signs are a stupid idea.

They pretty much do, everywhere you go, there's a Prop 65 warning, like at the door to a Trader Joe's or a parking garage. The whole point was to create an avenue for lawyers to sue business (extort money) if they didn't have a 65 warning up.
