The cover-up is always worse than the crime

Not always. Not if the crime is... MURDER.

He's just upset that Kelly had him fired 15 days before he was hired.

Oh well now that the Mooch has weighed in, I now know where I stand

/things nobody said, ever

Just to be clear, he's advocating that he come clean because it'll come out anyway, not because, you know, that Kelly was an asshole who defended a wifebeater and was morally repugnant for doing so.

"I would say, 'Jeez, you know, I knew about it. I was going to give the guy a pass because he told me it wasn't true and I apologize to the American people for that. He's been let go and I'd still like to keep my job,"'

I never would have pegged him as being one to advocate owning a mistake like this.

It's easy to moralize when you're not the one who has to face the potential consequences. This is especially true of the GOP.

So, vile but not completely stupid. I guess that's better than both. I do feel we're owed a higher class of villain these days. Typically Bizarro villains are only good for a one-off, a one issue run, but here we are on month 32 and it's like, "Yes, we get the gimmick, wrap it up and move on".

Amazing that a guy who worked for Trump fewer than two weeks is so frequently asked for his opinion on Trump.

Sean Spicer has to be pissed that this guy is being paid to be a talking head on cable TV instead of him.

Depends. Do you want to spend a Friday night hearing about people fulfilling your worst expectations or watching people fulfill your best?

Or you and I could spend the night together and let me not fulfill any of your expectations...

considering it's friday and the news dump of Kelly supposedly offering his resignation but the WH has denied his offering which means he did offer to resign but are probably in their bubble justifying why he shouldn't resign, but he probably will resign because then he can say "fark it, let me off this crazy train" I would think Rachel would be more fun to watch, the olympics are probably all time delayed anyways

I read in an interview where he said that he was motivated to escape from a lifetime as a stereotypical Lawn Guyland guido, so he worked hard and got into Harvard and then went to to work on Wall Street and made an assload of money.

And look where that got him. He might as well be from Staten Island or the Jersey Shore. There's not even a millimeter deep veneer of class.
