stirfrybry: It's a sad day for humanity when people are afraid to express their attraction. Maybe that's the plan. Population control through propaganda.

Didn't anybody tell those young men the rule: You never pass up a chance at sex... You never know which time will be the best you ever had.

I feel sorry for the sheep in your neighborhood.

I'm sick of all these pathetic metoos as much as anybody, but let's acknowledge just up and grabbing someone's balls/pussy is not the way to express attraction.  Ya need to get to first base first, yo.
As far as never passing up sex, sticking your dick in crazy is never actually a good idea.

No, unfortunately.  I was young, stupid and extremely poor so I didn't do anything about it.

It's quite possible she doesn't remember doing such because alcohol-also, logically, if you had done such things in the past, it would be a smart idea not to be the poster child pushing the issue from the other side.

Eh, seems to be quite common.
I guess there are lots of people with a skeleton in the coset who suffer a feeling of guilt and self-loathing or simply try to hide something and deflect suspicion by being vocally opposed to whatever-it-is; and then they overshoot the mark and end up in zealot territory.

Resigns in disgrace is in her future, especially given this statement she made about another representative:

"I refuse to work with (Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra) and anyone who takes part in harassment or assault,"

Want to make a bet? And how much?

My ex who works for a Fortune 50 company got caught by corporate security nailing a subordinate in the parking deck.  On camera.  One year later she was promoted to an executive.

See this chart for likely consequences of sexual misconduct in any workplace.

So....which of those squares was it?  Don't keep us in suspense.

Wouldn't that make her a hero to Fox News?  Oh wait, she didn't sell arms to Iran.

Thingster: How about we hit the "reset" button where we forget anything you did before 2/9/18 that didn't rise to criminality, and just say "people screw up, this was tolerated behavior in the past, we learned from the past, and going forward we'll be aware of our behavior as a community"

"'The point of an apology is to repair the broken trust, not to fix the mistake,' Christine Carter, a sociologist at UC Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center, told Salon.

'It can also be an act of self-compassion. You may not ever get forgiveness from the person you're asking for forgiveness from, but you can forgive yourself only once you have done everything you can do learn from it.'"

A huge part of why our justice system is screwed up is we're more interested in punishment than reparation.

I don't think you have been paying an iota of attention to any of the lectures people have been giving you about consent.

Contracts are the diametric opposite of the proper concept of consent, because if you change your mind at any time about sex, and you aren't allowed to stop, that is rape. So contracts are impossible. It's a typical stupid and male way to think about things.

inglixthemad: I think she also explicitly stated that alcoholic intoxication is not an excuse.

If two men had sexual contact with her when she was too drunk to know what was going on, she can't, ipso facto, have consented to it.

koder: stroked his back, squeezed his buttocks and tried to grab his crotch before he was able to leave.

Maybe he shouldn't have been wearing tight-fitting pants.  He was basically asking for it.

Men are always falsely accusing women of sexual harassment.   It's not fair that a hard working woman should lose her job just because some guy doesn't know his place and cries to HR.

The guy in the article didn't complain when he slept his way to the top.  This is clearly a money grab.

/This is my sarcastic font.

Because it would be cute and funny if someone did it to them or their daughters.
