I agree. If they hadn't already collaborated recently it might be kind of fun to get those two together again, but as it stands I can't imagine they'd have a whole lot to offer each other. Although I can see why Ferry would be open to the idea.

They've worked together quite a few times in recent years (on Mamouna, Frantic and Olympia, for example).  They're pleasant enough collaborations, but I wouldn't expect anything mind-blowing.

I've been watching Babylon Berlin on Netflix. It's set in early 1930s Germany. Lots of big band music. I kept hearing Brian Ferry melodies in it and checked it out. Sure enough, The Brian Ferry Orchestra is on the soundtrack and he appears in the show, singing Bittersweet in a club in one scene.

Back in the day you had bands with 5 guitar gods, these days it's just one guy surrounded by halkf naked women mucking around with electric thingies. What happened and who's fault it is?

I'm pretty sure Bryan Ferry came out of the womb in a white dinner jacket.

Would rather see a Jesus Lizard or Tar reunion, or maybe the classic lineup of Helmet. I wouldn't mind another Twinemen album either. Important thing with any reunion is that there's an actual album of new material, and not just some greatest hits yawn fest.

I'm really liking the Fripp and Eno reunion, Equatorial Stars. Especially "Altair". Funky planets.

A little "greater than" math formula:
Brian Eno solo > Roxy Music > Spice Girls > Brian Eno & Bryan Ferry together

The first two ROXY MUSIC albums are by far the best. They are all really good tho.
The four BRIAN ENO "rock" albums. Some of his records are only OK.
801 "Live" is pretty much the greatest live recording from the "prog" era.
Brian Eno/David Byrne "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts" is probably the best of all the "collaboration" records.
(Eno/Fripp, Eno/Cluster,....etc) note: I didn't mention the three Bowie records as "collaboration" as those are kinda considered as Bowie records with Eno.

The above are my opinions. I am an aging know it all asshole so that makes me right. You are allowed to disagree but I expect a smart retort with good reasons. Thank you and warmest regards.
