Balance for bigots.

Because "separate but equal" has historically worked soooo well for so many civil rights issues

*rolls eyes*

Bigots gonna bigot -_-

This is so weird.  You can do anything you want with your money here, and when you're on vacation here, we ask no questions and tell no tales.

BUT ...

None of that freaky same sex marriage, no sir, nuh-uh

/Just doesn't make any sense

Republicans in the US seen furiously taking notes.

Honestly though, I don't understand.  How was it hurting people?  Been legal in the US for a few years now and none of the bad stuff bigots warned us about has happened.

Meh.  Call me when you guys succeed in making  opposite       sex marriage illegal.

I'll never understand why people care that gay people get married.

Because then the children see two guys or two girls holding hands and have questions.  And those conversations are awkward, so better to avoid the discussion by making the whole topic illegal.  Same as when the kids see anything the parents can't easily explain.  Just avoid it.  That never fails.

Why do ppl say "half a dozen" instead "six?"

Sure it has! There are gays that exist. And they are having sex. How much worse could it get??

Sad, isnt it?

My kids love to watch Loud House. It's a fairly amusing cartoon about a family with 10 daughters and one beleaguered son. Nifty premise.

In the show, the son's best friend has two men as his adoptive parents, and one of the daughters has a love interest in a girl musician she knows from school.

Those two aspects of the show are not presented in such a way a to make statements or try and be "edgy". They just "are".

What's the effect of this horrible menace to our poor, impressionable children? Well, when my kids watch, they all know that Clyde has two dads and that Luna has a crush on a girl at school, but they don't see it as anything other than a peripheral fact of the show's universe.  In other words, the effect is...nothing.  Because kids already know that love isn't a matter of right or wrong.

Wouldn't it be awesome if our grownups could be as good at dealing with this as our kids are?

Fark Bermuda, Second Home Away from Berlin for The Duke and His Divorcee Yankee Fascist Duchess, or as Hitler used to fondly call them, The Once and Future King and Queen of Englisher Land.

I am pro-abortion on three conditions: it should be universally available, covered by all medical health care plans, and mandatory.

I think it unfair that Rich Republicans and other hypocrites can send their daughters and nieces away for an abortion but the poor and non-whites are stuck with prisons and back-alley abortionists. It's racist. It's hypocritical. It is, in one word with no English on it, Republican.

Spin-free zone, unless you count Republican heads spewing green oatmeal.

Six sounds like sex. And sex is dirty.

Now I am thinking of the South Park with Eric Cartmenez when he discusses abortion and Bill Billicheck

I have a scientific expiriment to test seperate but equal.  Let's bifurcate anyone who proposes it laterally. Use a big guilotine type machine. Ker chonk.

Then, if the two halves can tell us how grand it is, we'll consider the proposal.

Gay liberal agenda.  Probably make the kid be trans next, and do abortions in the name of Satan while the sisters all commit incest and bestiality(I assume they have pets).

Man. Could Britain's international clout shrink any more? Used to be Britain could force foreign empires to reform towards Victorian notions of morality with a single token gunboat anchored offshore. Now Britain runs around demanding all sorts of countries liberalise their treatment of LGBTQ individuals, and it can't even pressure a tiny British overseas territory to respect equal marriage rights. Heck, it's too afraid of the political fallout (e.g., independence) to simply exercise its constitutional right to veto the change.

Britannia can't even rule its own waves.

Are you kidding? Gay marriage destroyed my hetero marriage!
Timeline of events:
1. I got married
2. Gay marriage was legalized
3. I got divorced

The only logical conclusion is that, because gay marriage happened before I got divorced, it must have been the cause. It certainly couldn't have had anything to do with me being a bit of an asshole and my ex having her own issues.

/of course, by the same logic, my hetero marriage caused gay marriage to be legalized
//if I ever lose enough brain cells to get married again, maybe I should do so in the Bahamas? Then it might have at least one positive outcome
