He is a bit gabby but I like his approach.  He's as positive as Gruden, plus he understands offense and defense and can explain it to viewers.

The_Sponge: Give birth.

Technically, no, he can't give live birth.  But he has laid several eggs in the playoffs.

Trey Burton has thrown more TD passes in the Super Bowl than Romo

He can't ride a bike, because he might fracture a collarbone.

We might just see the rarely used "missed the ball entirely" rule come into play

Gruden was always careful what he said because he was searching for that next coaching or front office job.  Romo is a bit more glib, which is refreshing.

*goes to wikipedia to check*

Oh so he actually won 2 playoff games? Yup, stupid is me. I am willing to admit that I was wrong on the internet without fighting it. As all such disputes are resolved.

I liked him in the booth. Better than Collinsworth.

His insight is amazing, I just wish he'd cut down on the guttoral noises.  Him and Ray Hudson calling a women's tennis match would not be distinguishable from a porno.

Talk about keepin' the bar low

(Full disclosure: I'm mostly OK with Collinsworth. He's meh overall)

Yeah I love Romo in the booth but he will hopefully get over his novice behavior of constant conversation. His insights and personality are great, he just needs to reduce the chatter and storytelling a bit.

Yup. If he can tone it down a little there he could be great for years to come. He made a huge improvement from his first games to his last games this year.

He's so enthusiastic, it's hard to not like him. I feel like he'd be exactly the same if you were just watching a game with him in his living room.

maybe that's not his only body part that's big, so it's important for his significant other to have a larger than average mouth?

After Phil Simms was replaced - Collinsworth is now by far the worst color commentator. He obviously tried to be more exciting for this year's super bowl but he was just hammy, he sounded like a mom providing commentary to her favorite soap opera.
