"Never seen anybody hold onto a car like that in my life..."

You haven't?

CSB - In high school my buddy with a car full (I was in another car), stops at a light and yells "fire drill!".  Everyone in the car piled out and my friend stayed in.  As soon as everyone was clear of the car he peeled off leaving everyone standing in the road.  Another one of my crazy friends wasn't having it so just as my driver friend was taking off, he jumped on the back of the car.  I sat there watching my friend take off at top speed, hitting 70+ with the car receding into the distance with my other buddy clinging to the back by his fingernails which were wedged in the window groove as there was nothing else to hold on to.  My friend who was driving said he was having a good laugh and about the time he hit 75 he looked in the rear-view mirror to see my other friend mouthing in terror, "I'm slipping!  I'm slipping!"  Luckily he was able to quickly stop without anyone getting injured.

Oh, and the car was a retired police pursuit car formerly used by the Harris County Sheriff's dept. - my driver friend's dad was a HC Officer.

I thought everyone had been thrown off the hood of a car at least once.  I have...

Has anyone else wondered if a higher being has decided humanity is too stupid to exist and has triggered it to slowly self-destruct?

It is sad that there's enough videos of this to know what happened.  He was arguing with his woman, at some point he got out of the car, and she started taking off.  He hopped on the car because, "This ain't over."

We didn't require any kind of pretext, my foster brother and I did this one night in high shcool 'just because'. Well I did, anyway... He pussed out after about 50 feet and made us pull over. I rode until he pulled over, worried about cops.Let me tell you, even on the hood, it's a royal biatch to hold on, especially on a turn.

/Only did this once, BTW.

Just so we're clear here, never, ever ride on the hood of a freshly waxed 1978 Trans Am going 75 mph.  The ride is fun but slowing down is a real biatch because that hood is slippery as ice with almost nothing to hold on to.  You start falling to the front of the car and can't stop.  Luckily, the driver saw what was happening and slowed gently instead of slamming on the brakes.

Yes, alcohol was involved.

The real story behind that guy is far more disturbing than the tide pod craze... in my opinion.

It's ok - his car is a power bottom.
