(Deadspin)   LeBron James puts together THREE amazing plays in the final 30 seconds, including a buzzer-beater for an improbable 140-138 OT win. Yup .. he's still the King   ( deadspin.com) divider line

That game has me legitimately wondering if James might be the best player of all time. I have nothing against LeBron James. Jordan had stacked teams for years. LeBron is just ridiculous.

Good for him. They pay him a lot so the Cavaliers need to get their money worth out of him.

I guess the first of the three amazing plays wasn't worth linking a video?

And the NBA is still fixed.

Lebron James is an example of somebody who's done an amazing job and is getting recognized more and more, I notice.

Wheras I look that game as an example that we still can't play any defense as a team. Oh well. *I* will be happy with just getting to the playoffs this year.

Jordan's Bulls were stacked? LeBron has had 2 other all stars on each of his title teams.

What a stacked team might look like...

The Cavs are still 27th in points allowed, 29th in opposing FG%, and 19th in opponents' offensive rebounds.  The Browns are not the worst defense in Cleveland this year.

He has turned into a fine basketball player.

In some ways, he's sort of the Frederick Douglas of the nba.

Prior to today's trade(s?), i honestly felt that the Browns were the better run organization of the 2.

Meh. It's a 'cutting your losses' trade for the Cavs and a salary dump for the Lakers.

Basically, the Cavs gave up Irving for Lance Nance Jr and Jordan Clarkson.

Looks like Cleveland's not done trading.  Hope they asked Lebron.

Thats your 'basically'?    Just ignoring Crowder and the high draft pick they got from Boston?    Kyrie is a tremoundous player, but the Cavs are now an exponentially better team than they were a year ago, and better set up for the future.    Kyrie being a little pissant actually helped the Cavs improve themselves.

If they get back to a finals and win 2 games in the next 3-5 years then you are right.

Anything less is not "improving" anything.

Ok. Fair enough. Crowder and the pick need to be factored in.

Oops, I cut off the rest of my own comment...

But you are insane if you think the Cavs are 'exponentially better' today than a year ago.

Jordan had Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc, Ron Harper, and Steve Kerr for 3 of his title wins.

He had stacked teams.

I found the 2 all stars. You named a lot of exceptional role players too, so that's nice.

Yeah, this. I don't consider those teams 'stacked'. At least not when compared to the current Warriors or the Showtime Lakers.

You don't know much about basketball, do you.
All Stars are voted in by the fans - AC Green was a starting All star once FFS.

Jordan's title teams were stacked with great players who were consistently clutch in the playoffs.

I know how to use questions marks, does that count?
