(Fox News)   Police now say Robert Wagner's story about Natalie Wood's death 'doesn't add up'. Apparently the math on a statement from an 87 year old about something that happened 37 years ago will never balance out correctly   ( foxnews.com) divider line

What kind of wood doesn't float?

Really, everyone involved is like 90. Aren't there other cases that need more attention?

As I said the other day, I get the feeling there is going to be another high profile celebrity trial here in L.A. in the not too distant future.

Undoubtedly his lawyers would get a case laughed out of court if prosecutors actually try to convict him. It's ridiculous to be looking at this again.

And Natalie Wood gave me wood.

Wait a minute, I thought "one if by land, two if by sea" was said in reference to number of sex partners.  Looks like I need to stay on dry land with my coke-fueled threesomes

There was nothing suspicious. Who doesn't try to get into a dinghy in the middle of the night in just their nightgown?

I recently came across "Hart to Hart" and it reminded me of 1980s television being just hideous.

There were so many of these awful television shows in that era about obscenely rich people engaging in unrealistic experiences.

The 1980s was a time of mostly bad television and we all sat back and let it happen. Goes hand-in-hand with the Reagan era.

Drunk people fall off boats all the time. Especially non boat drunk people. Slip off the ladder, go between the dinghy and the boat, grab on and get smacked by the swell.

Considering how accurate eyewitness memories are, one from an 87 year old about an incident he has probably played and replayed in his mind (and the brain changes the story to make it all fit together into a narrative) there is nothing he could say at this point that affects the evidence already at hand.

I don't know what happened. I do know it's far too late to do anything about it. Wagner hasn't left a trail of bodies in the ensuing years. Short of someone saying " I pushed her in the water" there's no way of knowing after all this time.

Why don't you want to see rich white people get justice, after they find her killer they can then find the killler of Nicole Simpson and then Tupac and Biggie.

Why can't rich people get justice in this country? What are they paying taxes for?

Soooo...Robert Wagner...so far doesn't want to talk...to the POLICE?  I think 99 percent of us at least know what would happen to us if the police wanted to question us and we refused...

He pushed her in the water and made sure she wasn't rescued.  They had a big fight, and she had bruises from before she went in the water.

LASD, not LASO.  They're one of the few Departments, not Office.
