I... was not aware anyone besides my brother and I have ever seen this film - you'd have had to be awake at like 8am on a Sunday morning to see it on USA (AFAIK, the only place they ever showed it).

// I have also not watched it in approximately 500 years, so I guess I should get on that
// if you like this, you'll love Solarbabies (starring Dom DeLuise's son; the guy from the 21 Jump Street series who isn't Johnny Depp)

I wasn't aware there were people who hadn't seen it, until I got some blank stares.  Turns out you had to grow up with cable at just the right time in the 90s because it....was not a hit movie.

Over in Daredevil, The Kingpin is the mayor of New York City. Think on that for a moment.

That usually happens to me too, and I submit these threads.

We could move them back a day.

Dunno if you'll see this, but I already had you favorited as "St Kirby [Puckett]'s Tears"; and "a love of shiatty 80s movies/TV and baseball players" describes my childhood relationship with my older brother pretty well. So internet brothers it is. :)

// born 1981, so I absolutely grew up at the right time in the late 80s/early 90s for cable movies
// and am absolutely not shiatting on St Kirby, who (along with Tony Gwynn) made me believe that a fat man can still ball like a goddamn demon

LOL. I forgot about that.  My brother was born in 1981 too, but he was a big fan of Kevin Mitchell. No reason, we lived in Illinois, he just liked the fat players. I was a Cecil Fielder guy.

I just read Lost Light....yeah. Brutal.

The only other thing I've had time for is Walking Dead. That was the opposite of Lost Light. Poochie only had one line, but it was so God damn Poochie/Roy
