Right? A plan to kill US hegemony and destabilize the country would look pretty much exactly like what we have now. Hell the original Russian plan was probably way more subtle but they hit the jackpot

It's been happening for decades. Literally, decades. America had become complacent with its unique economic prosperity following World War 2, and we've just been stagnating in our own reassurances that we're best country on God's green earth, even as Japan adopted new business models that made them a leader in technology, or as most countries in the EU implemented cheaper and more far reaching healthcare.

The only comforting thought is that while our slide from global hegemon will hurt all Americans, the Trump supporters are going to be hurt the most. We will truly no longer have the resources to carry our slackers, and the Trumpers that I know are the biggest slackers around; high school drop outs, social security disability check collectors, landscaping industry lifers, MLM zombies, and various other sorts of poor-choice-making dullards.

These people thought they were electing someone who would take from other groups and give back to them. Oh what a surprise they have in store for themselves...

If you want to get an idea of our country and empire's future, read this little bit of history.

Unless we go full fascist, in which case we'll supercharge ourselves for awhile and burn bright at the expense of our longevity; an illusion of eternal greatness that imperial citizen's demand when they're desperate and afraid, and would-be despots promise to fulfill in exchange for total power over the national husk.

After the world unites and puts us down in that case, I wonder if they'll generously rebuild us as we did the great powers in Europe and Asia that we smashed during the first half of the 20th century.

And who do you think gave China all of that money that they're now using to push their agenda on the global stage? Ah, that's right, the American people themselves, who voted in globalist after globalist who was wiling to look the other way on human rights abuses, low wages, and heavy pollution to give China "most favoured nation" status. So, we first give them a ton of money and power, then we decide that we are going to cede our role as leaders of the world, and then act surprised when they step up and take our place. Ta-da, America!

China first in what? Population? When they can start forcing markets open, and providing a global military hegemony, we can talk about "China First." For now their ability to project air power is exactly half a tank of fuel, and their ability to project Sea power is anywhere that is outside the flight range of an F-18.

And the flight range of an F-18 is 1200 miles from any sea-connected body of water in excess of 37 feet deep.

We have seen what the unleashed American military can do to this country's enemies--both military and civilians.

If the global community decides the world can't afford another round of American visiting total destruction and unconditional surrender on her enemies, we are in serious trouble. Things could start with global sanctions and boycotts and end up with us against the rest of the world in toe to toe to toe nuclear combat.

Thank you so much, Trump voters.

His son-in-law is Jewish, but naturally, not being The Donald, he can't do anything right. Nobody that Trump knows can do anything right. He is the Only Genius he knows except for people richer and more successful than him. Like Rupert Murdoch. And everybody from the National Basketball Association up.

To be honest, I wouldn't have an issue with that from a financial standpoint of that era, if they want to change the tax code so the rich in the country actually pay their share again.
