Has anyone not bailed on that steaming pile?
It was interesting at first, then it just started to drag like a bad soap opera.

This season sucks. Should have ended it last last season with Hook and Emma's wedding.

There was a second season?

I'm surprised it made it past season 1, tbh.

"I'm going to steal your happiness forever! By casting this complex spell that screws the whole world including me instead of just capping your prince with a Glock."

/Never made it past the first episode

After Season 1, the series had no place to go.  Except to lazily farm Disney IP for storylines that made no sense.  The Frozen season was an obvious pandering for ratings.

Yeah, Wifey and I watched the first couple seasons then lost interest.

I heard they were sending it to a farm upstate... same place Fox sent Firefly.

Just give Lana Parilla and her corsets a stand alone show, I will watch the hell out of it.

/plus she is a great actress for the material they give unto her.

Yeah, my Mom liked the show but I was worried about it being a soap opera and didn't watch it.

I admit, it was guilty pleasure of mine for a couple of seasons, but I lost interest with it a few years ago.

Plus, with ABC i'm fairly certain Agents of Shield takes up 95% of the CGI budget, and Once Upon a Time suffered with that.

I stalled out during the Frozen epoch. Did it ever become watchable again?

Susan'sLittleAdamsApple: Just give Lana Parilla and her corsets a stand alone show

That's what got me along as far as the Frozen epoch.

My biggest issue is that every season a big bad guy would be redeemed. And the next season they would usually revert to being evil only to be redeemed again.

That, and the dramatic deaths of characters, only to have them come back.  I think that's when I stopped caring.

This.  She, alone, is the reason I started watching that show.  Her and Robert Carlyle are the only reasons I kept watching.  Finally tapped out in the "Hades" season.  The dude they had playing Hades was sooooo bad.  He should not act.

Bring back Swingtown. And this time, put it on Showtime.

Forgotten this show even existed. Watched the first season and it was fun. Dropped out a bit into the second season. It just got really bad really quick. Don't think it got picked back up by Sky to show in the UK.

/ new Macgyver gone bye bye too

The Mrs. and I were fans at first, but we struggled to finish season five on Netflix, and haven't watched it since.
An interesting premise (and Lana Parilla is one example of many that God likes women a lot), but it's done.

2018-02-07 12:17:38 PM
I would watch a season of a show in which Lana Parilla walks around and reads from the phone book in an array of different outfits.

as someone who hasn't watched in years, how do they have hook and emma getting married and then morrison leaves the show? did her character die?

Same here.  After season 2, I lost interest and after the Frozen season, I stopped watching it.  Mr. Gold couldn't save it for me (good actor).

No. Henry decided to go out into other worlds to have adventures of his own, taking Pinocchio's motorcycle with him..have no idea what he did for gas while traveling in other wordsl. While  in another world, he meets and falls in love with another version of Cinderella. They have a kid. One thing leads to another and Cindella's step sister casts yet another curse that causes everyone to forget who they are except for Henry's daughter and they wind up in Washington. So basically it's a redone version of the first season with Henry's daughter trying to get Henry and others to remember

Good, now Jennifer Morrison can get a show where she can be pretty again, instead of just trying to look severe.

so morrison's character is still alive? and on the show? and is this other version of Cinderella established as being a second Cinderella? Like the first one is still out there somewhere?

and where did he get gas?

wow, this all sounds just awful. for a show i used to shamefully enjoy i am glad i got off the train to nowhere

first season was pretty fun tho

Yes. Sort of...she was in a single ep only to give Henry some advice, save a dying alternate version of Hook, tell real Hook that she's pregnant and then go back to Storybrooke with the real Hook. Yes, she's been established as an alternate Cinderella. Original Cinderella is still presumably still in Storybrooke.

I have no idea about the gas. Maybe it runs on magic or something.

And also, if  everyone gets their memories back this time around, Henry will die because he was poisoned or something before the curse took effect.

I genuinely enjoyed most of that season too. Pan was a good actor and I liked the evil twist on him. Apparently he comes back a couple seasons ago?! I stopped watching before then but I hope that was a fun arch

Honestly, this was a pretty decent show when it started. Had some fun mysteries, a few great performances. I always liked looking for the Disney easter eggs..then is became ALL Disney ALL the time. Remember the Frankenstein episode? Or the Giant? Or Hansel and Gretl? I wanted to see them keep doing other non-Disney stuff like that. I wanted to see all kinds of random myths. Why not Santa Clause, too? I mean, just go mental with it

Which they did apparently, just not in the good way

And a hell of a nice person. An associate of mine lives near where her family stays when they are up here filming. His kid is close friends with one of her kids. He says she's pretty awesome.

Robert Carlyle chews so much scenery, especially as Rumple, and its fantastic.

Lana Parilla is great in a corset.

And, I think the blue fairy was in Masters of Sex..

I really didn't watch until Netflix had the 1st 5 seasons.
I'd seen a couple episodes including the premier but just kept forgetting about it or it was on up against a can not miss show for me.

So I went binge crazy with it on NF until I said woah, need to pace this out.
So it's been awhile now. Time to get back into it.
