How is "The Room" not on this list?

2018-02-07 12:57:17 AM
I can honestly say I haven't seen a single one of the movies on that list.

Cyberluddite: I can honestly say I haven't seen a single one of the movies on that list.

I've seen 4 if you count the MST3K version of Manos.

2018-02-07 01:13:44 AM
There's way too much actual Hollywood stuff on that for a list of the "worst movies ever".

Granted a lot of that stuff should be better for the budget and effort put in, but most mainstream movies just can't touch some of the absolute trash sub b-movie stuff out there.

2018-02-07 01:48:21 AM
I've seen four of them: Speed 2, The Avengers, Catwoman, and Battlefield Earth.

The Avengers, at least, was fun and one could have a laugh. The others were just plain painful.

2018-02-07 02:22:53 AM
Freddy Got Fingered is the worst movie of all time.

I've seen Barb Wire. That's the only one I watched all the way through. I've seen bits of some of them (Battlefield Earth, Ballistic, Catwoman, the two Jaws movies). I saw the first Look Who's Talking but I don't think I even knew they made three of them.

And no, I can't say I like any of them.

Oddly enough that movie has a 26%/46% on Rotten Tomatoes. Which is what the list is based on (and IMDB user ratings).

Speaking of RT, I just checked Black Panther on there today and it's currently at 100% with 64 reviews.

Those movies are terrible. As lists go, they were not completely wrong.
"The Creeping Terror" was VERY bad. It was basically 100 square feet of water damaged carpet with multiple eyes made from dryer vents swallowing startled damsels and eating entire army squads. In several shots you could see the human feet under the "monster'.

Without Legally Blonde, the list is massively incomplete.

/Seriously
//Fark that movie
///It is singlehandedly the most frightening horror film I've ever watched

2018-02-07 03:53:33 AM
Blair Witch 2 could have been a really good film without the terrible studio interference.

Street Fighter has that legitimately brilliant "For me it was Tuesday" line.

Manos: Hands of Fate was made by amateurs. It doesn't belong on this list of films made by people who should know better.

2018-02-07 04:21:43 AM
Well, three of them are among my favorite movies...

Without Santa Claus Conquers the Martians and Gassss their list is nothing.  Also, Orgy of the Dead, First Family and Rattlers.

Oh, and worst of all:  Americathon.

Pathetic!

2018-02-07 04:31:32 AM
It's amazing that over half are awful comedies. Meet the, Epic... Movie, the awful awful spoofs. They must be stopped.

Snapper Carr: Street Fighter has that legitimately brilliant "For me it was Tuesday" line.

Every scene with Bison was brilliant. He almost single handedly saved that film. Alas, there was just too much awfulness in it.

With a b-movie you pretty much expect it to be bad going in. These, I think, were supposed to be good. And weren't. Well at least a whole lot better than they were.

2018-02-07 05:09:31 AM
The Avengers doesn't belong on that list. I'm not saying it's a great movie, but I can see a lot of it in Kingsman's DNA.

No Plan 9?  No Samurai Cop?  List fail!

what a farking disappointment of an abortion of poopoo pile.

I believe I've said enough.

NOT the books

2018-02-07 05:47:32 AM
I liked Blair Witch 2 better than the first one, but that's damning with the faintest praise.

Jaws 4 remains the only film where I walked out and got my money back.

List should have The Room, Plan 9, Gigli, Heaven's Gate and Attack Of The Clones.

Though I do agree with Snapper that the list should be weighted toward larger budgets and bigger studios. They have less excuses.

2018-02-07 05:51:12 AM
No Howard the Duck?  That should be #1.

2018-02-07 05:52:20 AM
Birdemic is truly dreadful. I watched the whole thing & spent 3/4 of it in hysterics. And if they're putting Birdemic on the list, then surely the Sharknado films ought to be there too.
I kind of enjoy B-movies especially when they're so bad they're good.
I'd certainly add this to the list
Queen Of Outer Space (Trailer)
Youtube awWQo9gYayQ

It is supremely bad

No Movie 43?  The movie that had well known actors doing painfully unfunny schlock?  That's not a worst of?  Not even over Biodome?  At least with Biodome you knew you were getting a Paulie Shore movie.

I liked Gigli. It was a nice chunk of entertaining crap.

I think I knew in the first two minutes of that movie that I was going to hate it

I've seen 3 of them... I'm surprised I haven't seen more.
I've seen a lot of crap movies but I guess I've got better judgment than i figured.

I guess I've seen Caddyshack II.. and I think Speed 2, though I remember none of it.

The first Scary Movie, that was certainly the worst movie I saw in a theater.

2018-02-07 07:17:27 AM
I've seen about ten of them and bits of a bunch of others. But yeah a lot of garbage there.

Any worst movies list that doesn't have Highlander 2 is incomplete.

Beaches
3 men and a baby
Love story
Anything with "Madea" in the title.
Frozen

I liked Book of Shadows, but the rest belong there.  The English Patient should have gotten a spot on that list.

Alphax: The first Scary Movie, that was certainly the worst movie I saw in a theater.

I'm one of the dozen people that saw Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever

I can't remember a thing about it other than we left the theater going "WTF was that?"

2018-02-07 07:32:54 AM
Searching for "Robot Monster" on the list and it is not found.  List fail.

2018-02-07 07:42:14 AM
Is it just a list of every Adam Sandler movie?

Well it would be if it was ever made, but we all know that movie doesn't exist.

2018-02-07 07:43:36 AM
The Avengers was okay if you didn't watch it with high expectations. And Manos kind of falls into the 'so good it's bad' category. Highly MST3K-able.

2018-02-07 07:44:43 AM
I can usually spot a crappy movie a mile away. The only two movies on that list I watched were from when I was an adolescent.

The worst movie I've watched recently (I was bored, Netflix doesn't always have the best selection and I was in the mood for something light) was The To Do List. Holy crap, how does Aubrey Plaza even get hired? She can't act. At all. She seems to be great at playing herself, but she can't even pull off another character in a crappy movie. I wasn't expecting it to be a great movie, maybe just entertaining enough but it was painfully bad.

2018-02-07 07:45:01 AM
Uwe Boll is entirely underrepresented on that list.

2018-02-07 07:45:55 AM
Showgirls?  Treasure of the Four Crowns?

2018-02-07 07:48:02 AM
There was an indie movie (my mind blocked the name out of sheer self-defense) a few years back about a couple of people getting kidnapped by aliens in the northeast, then coming back to propagate aliens in human bodies. They kill someone, then shoot a long ovipositor onto the dead body's mouth and inject an egg. The impregnated bodies got stacked in a barn to 'hatch', meaning basically they come alive again?

Dear, sweet FSM, that movie was bad. It started out with the promise of a decent concept, then went guanopsychotic stupid.
