Uber vs. Google.
It's the ultimate showdown between a company that uses drivers to rape you and another company that just does it with their privacy policy instead.

$600M for an engineer and his rights to a self-driving truck company?

If the info & tech as so well-known as to be considered essentially public domain, Uber could have gotten it for much, much less.

Hire 300 engineers, give them 9 months, and if they deliver, $1M on receipt.  Same result, half the money, in less time.

Good luck find engineers willing to work 9 months for a potential payout of just over 3 grand.

See, when he (take it slow) quoted $600M and then (stay with me here) said "half the money" and (here's the tricky part) 300 engineers, (now call me crazy but) I kind of took the $1M to mean a million for (study it out) each of the 300 engineers. (But that's just me.)

But your way works, too, I guess. (Not really.)

He didn't say "half the money" which why I guess you decided to cut off the quote. What said sounded like he wanted 300 engineers to work for 9 months then split the million bucks.

"same result, half the money, in less time."

It's right there in his original text.

anustart vs max_pooper - they both sound like assholes, but I'm sure one will get the other in the end.
