As a Bengals fan who was watching when the play happened, I wish Shazier both a full recovery, and to have the wisdom to never play another competitive down of tackle football.

This is obviously one of those times that no matter who your rival may be, you know human lives are affected. If you still see hate through that wall, you are a shiatbag and I hope you catch permanent Taco Bell-butt.

Obviously, he didn't walk/stand for almost 2 months... his muscles are basically gone.  It'll take a few weeks of effort to get back to normal (Most normal people take much longer than that but he's young and freakishly athletic)

Regardless of the team, it's sad when younger stars have their careers end so early... But so much worse given his circumstances.

Huh. I guess you were not here in the game thread when the injury occurred. Some of the things said were really repulsive.

10 years ago Kevin Everett had a much more severe injury and he survived due to new techniques at the time. It's amazing how fast medical science moves.
