(Slate)   Super Bowl LII? Yeah, it was pretty good, if you're into the more mainstream Super Bowls. I prefer some of the other Super Bowls; you probably haven't heard of them   ( slate.com) divider line

Is this the idiot that ranked Skins-Broncos as the top Super Bowl?

I wanna know how much his dealer is making off him.

It was a good game, but if you're a fan of "well played" football I can understand the criticism. The defenses were atrocious, and the few special teams plays weren't much better.

Can we stop with these stupid Roman numerals already?
Name the game for the year it's played in FFS.

I have a tiny anonymous social media feed where I occasionally quip about politics and sports, and sure enough a slightly tongue-in-cheek comment about sports and *redacted* was liked by a VERY big Twitter *redacted*.

I'm scared that I'm going to die now.

So according to this guy, a 42-10 blowout that was essentially over by halftime was the greatest Superb Owl of all time.

Of all the Slate contrarian articles that's been linked here, this may be the Slateiest.

If you're a fan of "well played football," the greatest Super Bowl ever isn't the one where one defense gave up 35 points in one quarter.

I imagine a 6-3 final would be equally objectionable. Perhaps there's some magic formula to tell us the just right scores to have.

Yes the 2018 Super Bowl which determined the 2017 NFL champion that makes so much more sense

Also, they should use base 12 numbers, they're better.

I thought the same thing until I found this cool formula:

[Year the Super Bowl is played]    - 1    =    [Year of the Regular Season]
