(Major League Baseball)   "Moneyball"-era Oakland A's outfielder/MLB Network host Eric Byrnes graphically recreates all those times he sacked Tom Brady back in the South Bay's Western Catholic Athletic League. This is what happens to Gridiron Gods who lose to the Eagles   ( mlb.com) divider line

But dd he score 4 touchdowns in a single game?

That loss to the Eagles is on Belichick and the defense. When your offense has over 600 yards and scores 33 points, you should have won the game. Who knows if Butler could have improved things but no one will ever know.

But the Eagles did a great job, and I'd rather see them dominate the NFC than the Giants or Seahawks.

That was one of the dumbest articles I've ever read

1)  the snakes paid byrnes something like $13 million dollars to go the fark awy.  he was so terrible, we bought out his contract.  we paid him to go away.

2) bald bryan on adam carolla podcast went to high school with  tom brady.  tells a great story of a high school baseball game.  the pitcher was carrying a no hitter thru  like, the 5th inning. as most baseball fans know, once you get ppast the 4th or 5th inning, you dont talk about the no hitter.  you dont talk to the pitcher - you dont acklowedge it, period.  So.  pitcher is on the mound, and Tom, in the dugout by Bald Bryan, goes, "whoa, holy shiat - guys, he;s got a no hitter going!  people grimace.

bald bryan:  "folks. i am not exaggerating.  as if on cue, right out of the hollywood movies, about a second or two after those words left Tom's mouth.....the very next pitch leaves the pitcher's hand.  Crack!  over the fence.  tom brady not just broke up the no hitter....it was a home run!"

Alright, I'm an A's fan and was there when Byrnes first started as a backup/base-stealer.  He may be crazy but I still like the guy.  He's never lacked for energy and fun.  Yeah, he duped the D-Bags, uh D-backs in his final years but to A's fans, he's still cool.

/Except, what the hell did he do to his hair?

WCAL isn't really a "South Bay" conference; three of its nine schools are in SF and Junipero Serra (Brady's HS) is in San Mateo.

he had that stupid "front flip" move he loved to do and which the fans loved.....runner advances on a tagup, byrnes get a ruuning sprint, throw to home, do a front somersault, the crowd leaps to their feet and roars...........and the throw is 30' off the taarget, 2 runners score on the error.....how many godamned times did we see that?

/plus his walkup music was The Outfield, "Josie's on vacation so far away , come around and talk it over" song.  come on man.
