Is this the thread where we all brag that we're mostly cash?

Because I'm mostly cash. And bottled water.

I made a large liquid investment last week, mostly gin and whiskey. I'm sitting pretty right about now.

The bitcoin sales are less about panic and more a slide that's started since December.  This last one in the past week or so is due to China banning all cryptocurrency outright.

OK, I'll bite.  I was 100 percent cash since the election of president rage potato. Was.  Then, a week ago today, after a friend's continually beat me with "the world economy is on fire" articles, I put my toe back in...20 percent.  Since then, I had days of down 250, 350, and today 1100 or so.

I told him to cheer up.  If I had put in all 100 percent we would be down 5X as much.

Bitcoin is at £4683 right now. I bought five years ago at a hundred or so and sold most of mine at twelve and a half, just before the peak, so I'm really getting a kick etc.

/More luck than skill.
//Wish I'd bought more back then.

Time to buy right now. You'll regret not getting in on this new low.

Or maybe it will go down more. It would be dumb to buy during a slide.

I don't know how to got here. We are all gamblers now.
