Considering they are expecting it to go boom at liftoff, that's like proclaiming you'll clean up the commode as soon as your newborn child uses it.

Whoever did write that headline doesn't know the first thing about Kurt Vonnegut.

I'm pretty sure they are underselling their expectations a bit... Just about everything to do with this they have done before, hell the two side cores are flight proven and they aren't even trying to cross fuel.

They haven't tried this before. Hence the expectations that rockets will go boom.

Are they waiting for the Stay-Puft launch before they try crossing fuel?

I don't think it counts if you disable part physics, or weld them using part welder type mods.  I say that because there's a distinct lack of reinforcement anywhere in that thing, so I'm pretty sure they had some behind-the-scenes help holding it all together.  Real Solar System makes the game harder, not easier.

I don't think it counts [since it's a game and not real life.]

On that point, I agree.

All the boosters are coming back, just not all in the same place.

In memory of the New England Patriots, two are returning by land and one is by sea.

The boosters always come back.
Lets hope its just three places and not ~150,000 places.

The fact that a $100k car (retail of course) is still cheaper to send into space than a traditional dummy payload is rather interesting.
